- Amazing 3 speed gearbox - DIY from cardboard.
In this video I will guide you gearbox build with 3 speed transmission from cardboard. This is a RC 3 speed gearbox, it active amazing. Hope you like speed gearbox it. Thank you!
Materials you need: cardboard, 1 motor down speed DC 9v, 1 switch, battery, aluminum bars, bamboo skewers, hot glue gun...... and follow all steps from this video and you will get amazing #speedgearbox with #3speedtransmission. If you like this video don't forget to subscribe :). Thank you!

Principle of operation for 3 Speed Gearbox:
- Mode N = 0 (1st position): the shaft coupling "does not attaches to" the first gear, the shaft does not rotate).
- No.1 mode (second position): the shaft coupling "attaches to" the first gear, so the reel (the slowest speed).
- Mode 2 (third position): 2 gears in the middle of "sticking", so the axis of rotation (speed is faster than mode 1).
- Mode 3 (fourth position): shaft coupling "sticks to" third gear, so the reel (fastest speed).
Put it to a real car :)))

First of all, the torque converter is usually wet, so the cardboard would be fucked, second, the planetary gear set would probably rip itself specially if it is made from cardboard, or whatever this is, third, automatic transmissions are gay

There’s a way you can improve this so that the gear handle don’t lock up the main shaft when shifting. You could add a bar just above the large gear that connects to the gear handle which can move from curved slots in the sides. That will probably fix the problem
