What an handy, simple tip!
Thanx for watching. Glad you enjoyed this video.
could you also use a make-up sponge to apply the paint to the stamp if you don't have a palette?
You dont need any specific pallet. You can use a paper plate, a plastic pocket protector (for lever arch files), any flat non porous surface. The make up sponge could add paint into the recessed areas that will cause a blotchy stamped image. Hope this helps
Oh sorry I just saw you said where the stamp is from in your notes.
No worries. Thanks for watching
Someone might also want to use paint if they want a specific color for which there is no ink pad.
Yes, paint is also a lot cheaper then some stamp pads. I just love using what I already have.
Forgive me sounding dense....why would you use acrylic paint rather than a permanent ink pad?....when you have to go to do much trouble to clean the stamp before the paint does any damage?....am i missing the point?....😅...thanks Jane
🤣😎 yes good point, my aim was to show that stamps can be used with many types of media. I have had ladies in my art journaling classes that didn’t own permanent ink but do have acrylic paint. I then teach them how to use the paint as a permanent stamping medium. Its about showing that you can use what you have. Shop your stash😎
Where did you get that wonderful stamp!?
