Question re: the half up half down. Is there any way to stop your hair getting all knotted up in the hairband and pulling half your hair out when you take it out? 🙃😭
I literally do this everytime. I had to changed it from half up half down to a bun in a quick change at dance once and nearly died

tie up the bit that you’re keeping down whilst your tying the rest of it up of that makes sense so like the bit that ur gonna keep down for the half up half down tie up in like a rough low ponytail or something then tie up the bit ur keeping up like a normal high pony then let the rest down :)

i wet the section im tying just a little or add a serum to it (leave in conditioner, anti frizz, etc.) and it helps it a lot from getting tangled with the bottom section!

with a french braid, i find it SO much easier to get my plaits to the back of my head if i put each of my arms around each side of my head rather than both on the side you're plaiting- its hard to explain but if you put your arms up above your head and then start braiding your hair, i find it way easier than if im reaching across to my face with the furthest away arm x
Hey Han!! Love this video!!! If you want your french braid more over your head than down the side you need to change the position of your hands to over your head. I practiced forever to be able to get my braid like that xxx

Hey Hannah great video!♥️ a tip for getting the french braid on top of your head is it’s all in your arm positioning when you do your braid your arms are positioned at side of your head and naturally you’re gonna braid it more to side, if you keep you hands/arms positioned more on top of your head it’s easier to get the braids to follow along the top :) xx

Love these :) If you switch your hands when you do your French plaits it might make it easier in general but more importantly to get closer to the back of your head if thats what you want! So if you're doing the right plait have your right hand holding the piece at the front of your face and your left at the back of your head! xx

Quick tip with the braids instead of your back hand being close to your ear, have it more towards your part and the braid will go to the back of your hair, I had the same issue when I was practicing on me, hope that helps. Love you xxx

Just a TIP: if you want wavy hair, night before wet your hair a bit (or spray it with water) and do 1 braid (it doesnt have to be french), tbh you dont even need water but it lasts longer (it lasted about 3 days for me). Also if you want it curlier just do 2 simple (or french) braids, even curlier would be 3 braids and it goes on and on:)
