I am enjoying re-watching this beautifully made series. I can't get over the scenery. Amazing country. So glad I got to visit there last summer. Of course I'm now in love with the doctor.
Neil and Miss Alice both talk about how Christy is so much like Margaret. Actually, I don't find them much alike at all, other than maybe both being quite headstrong and at times, fiery. As far as values, they're polar opposites.

Earlier Doc let Christy use his wife’s dress and it fit well. The similarity seems mostly physical.
I thought maybe her and David would be for each other, but he's way to needy. I'm glad christy and dr ended up with each other :)
Also...enjoy this cast much more than the movie.
You saw strong will in Christy, which was similar to Margaret, but Margaret and Christy's values are polar opposites

Alice was pretty selfish not wanting her son in law to find happiness but mourn the rest of his life.
She didn’t really want that. She’s just still processing her guilt and grief.

Actually, I knew it does a lot to prevent it but didn't know it actually cured it; hwr, considering the fact that colostrum (pre-milk b4 breast milk develops) is filled w/the most antibodies when compared w/breast milk once it's changed from colostrum, it shouldn't have come as a surprise. I know it prevented many illnesses in my youngest whereas my oldest was sick all the time b/c I had a discharge-type infection that didn't allow me to nurse & it was b4 breast-milk services were available.
