It would be awesome to see the the maze return! Test the new dinos, use terrain tools to distinguish sections of the maze, I think it would be worth it to rebuild on the sandbox mode.

Me: YES! Sandbox on every island! I have so many ideas of parks to make! So many options! Also Me: *Makes basically the same park I do every time in sandbox mode (Tiny caged in pockets of humans, and dinosaurs running free throughout the majority with a jurassic tour) on the other islands.*
I played some last night. The creative mode is INSANE but I found it difficult to get the dinosaurs to migrate into my park like I wanted. I didn't feel like opening an ACU center to fly dinosaurs to different areas of the park I created on Nublar North. (One of the cons of that map is the fact you still can't delete the operations centers) So when I opened 4 different creation labs and maxed out each with the dinosaurs I wanted, I was able to enclose 50+ Struthimimus, 20 Triceratops, 5 T-rexes, and about 20 Brachiosaurus/Diplodicus. I had some other dinos but I forget what kind???? Sandbox is wonderful though.
I’m terrible at making decisions so I just want to bring Baryonyx, Corythosaurus, and Ankylosaurus to Sanctuary (Trike, Galli, Brachi, and Stiggy stay on N North because they’re on the Challenge Mode by default). But I really don’t feel like recreating my entire Park on Sanctuary right now
12:04 I noticed recently that the sandbox settings have been separated into categories. Additionally, on PS4, the main campaign's save files takes up eight save blocks while a sandbox mode save file is only one.
Sandbox mode on every island is really what this game needed. Just finished up one on Nublar North. Tried something: bred one of each color for each dinosaur and put the settings to no conflict at all. Once it was done, I turned conflict to maximum. Went from 397 dinosaurs, 66 species to 52 dinosaurs, 22 species in a surprisingly short time. Chaos!
One of the great things about the terrain paints that I noticed is that if you had painted over an area completely, you will see after the update that previous parks adapted it. Assuming you had painted that whole area. So it saves having to go back and do it manually. ALSO THE SAFARI TRACKS DON'T CUT THROUGH THE PAINT EITHER I AM SO HAPPY ABOUT THAT
The only negitave I've had with the new sandbox mode is the jeep skins don't transfer. You have to re-unlock them. Not the hardest thing to do but it's annoying nonetheless.
Would you mind clarifying it a little more for me, as someone who still has not even played the game myself yet? So when you unlock the Jeep skins in campaign, do you have to keep unlocking them in each individual sandbox file every single time? Or was this supposed to work where the Jeep skins are permanently unlocked for sandbox, once you unlock them for the campaign, only there was a glitch that makes you need to do it again after the patch?
@@markcobuzzi826 Before this, the sandbox was the same file as the campaign so unlocking them again wasn't necessary. As for the second question, I believe it's due to how the sandbox now counts as a new file from the campaign and is likely an unintended side effect. That's just speculation though and we can't know unless Frontier themselves mention something about it.
I think for me, the biggest thing i'd like changed for sandbox is not needing the entrance to power buildings, specifically hatcheries. We could get a proper Site B style mode if we could get that lol
Another suggestion we could make: not just instant incubation, but also instant building placement. Why wait several minutes just for a building to finish construction?
If you make the maze again, you could potentially separate certain areas into different 'biomes.' One part of the maze could be jungle/forest, another part could be desert, another part a rocky area, etc. Just food for thought to make the maze even more visually interesting.
I actually agree with you on the fact you can't import your campaign islands into sandbox mode. I recommended that to the developers, but never got any response. Another option is when you go to the sandbox tab and it asks you to "Select Island" there should be an option to "Select All" so you can at least switch back and forth between sandbox islands like campaign. Then you can flatten all islands and save and have things set for future sandbox play.
Dude I'm glad you understand how I feel because we playing the mission just to get lot of dinosaurs in every Park it's a lot of work but but take some agonizing days
Yes would really enjoy seeing plateo trees as the main food source for the herbivores. Imagine how natural their enclosures (parks) and wild life preserve playthrough would be.
An option I'd love to see added to Sandbox would be to turn dinosaur panicking off. Had a really good exhibit featuring a bunch of North American dinos: Torosaurus, Trike, Edmontosaurus, Rex, ect...but it was so annoying because all my herbivores were dying from dehydration or starvation because Rex just looked in their general direction.
A good suggestion for the combat frequency would be a site B where the carnivore would only hunt when they are hungry. The lower the food bar gets the more desperate it becomes to make a kill. Ik this wouldn't work because you would have to change the ui in the game.
I’d like to see a snow terrain added. And maybe snowy weather. And if they added more trees they could add pine trees, imagine a winter themed Jurassic World.
As of this morning, Isla Pena does not have sand. Instead, it has a gravel-like texture which I never knew about! Hopefully we can get sand there soon though.

Might I offer (a probably over suggested) Idea for a future park? Nublar North (Or Sorna, up to you) consisting purely of dinosaurs from Operation Genesis, since we now have the entire roster!
Nublar North with it’s two operation centers and all the scientists there would make a really good place for scientists to obverse the dinosaurs in their natural surroundings. A bit like "Chased by Dinosaurs" with Nigel Marven. Have two small basecamps and the rest is just nature. My idea was to have a river from the top area down to the middle and bottom areas. BestInSlot I'm having trouble unlocking this dinosaur. The dig site was depleted before I researched it. Then I researched the dino and the site is still depleted. The other two dinosaurs worked but not this one. Any suggested actions? Dryosaurus
I have seen people saying too

You need to have expedition, research and fossil centers for all 5 main islands (of the campaign) to get all the fossils.
