AND the time machine mod (the one that makes the beggar donations go faster). AND the unintrustive pause menu mod.
This is one of my most satisfyingn on tainted forgotten runs to date. Ok ignore everything past this point, while I'm late for this upload... I also wanna shove as many funny item names as possible in here; plus nobody will read it anyways: Early bird's eye and brimstone have such HUGE c section tech x POTENTIAL (even though it's not as good as ghost pepper), although a bit of a change of plans involving sacred heart and a missed opportunity of rerolling items with the d6 made this run a bit more dangerous than it should have been, not to mention holy light's synergy with perfection's 10+ luck which just ended up melting everything I came in contact with. With so many soy milk angel rooms and the combination of godhead and proptosis, including the ipecac (dunce cap) I was basically guaranteed to find sacred heart, crown of light, and many other OP items that made this run a free monstro's lung win featuring edmund mcmillen (who also created super meat boy)... And I'm totally not mentioning these items in the description just for keywords or anything, why would I ever do that? This paragraph is also ABSOLUTELY not copied from another one of my videos but with certain words changed to make sense in the context of this video, that would just be silly. Wow, did you really read all of that? I'm proud of you.
Ok since nobody's gonna read this... I can say that I'm 100% changing my YT username to just "Laven" for 2 reasons:
1. I hate how people mispronounce lavencas, it's supposed to be just like "Lavender Castle" if you remove the extra letters, but a ton of people put emphasis on the VEN which sounds extremely weird to me and annoys me to no end
2. Some of you also seem to think the L is an i but WHYYYYYYY
I was thinking of rebranding to a different name entirely, but that's too much effort and a lot of people would be confused sooooo... yeah. Also fun fact the name lavencas was kind of a placeholder until I thought of something that sounded better, but my channel exploded way faster than I would've ever imagined and by that point it was too late...

Ok if mom's knife has a forgotten synergy where he literally turns the thing into a sythe surely the item that gives *sythe tears* would have a similar synergy where he just swings the sythe instead but _noooo._

i get your point but the moms knife one makes sense imo cus its like the knife is attached to the bone making it look like a scythe, whereas deaths touch IS a scythe it cant really do anything with the bone
@@kazuo635 I'm not saying that the mom's knife synergy doesn't make since or isn't already cool. What I'm saying is that it is stupid how the lost gets a literally gets a scythe but not from the scythe item.

I watch your videos almost everyday and I just wanted to say thank you for having such great content. There are a good amount of Issac channels out there and I still end up gravitating towards your videos. Please keep doing what you're doing and even if it wasn't Issac I think I'd still end up watching you for your great humor and genuine effort.

Two things.
1) 1:41 iirc, you can’t actually switch to the soul if you don’t have soul hearts
2) you can do the devil deal trick with the body as well, but the soul remains chained, meaning you can’t move freely (so it’s a bad idea)

I think if possible more devil deal/angel deal abuse could be a healthy outlet for your gamebreaking tendencies. Granted, the door won't stay open, so it's more of a niche case however it's a lot more fun imo since so many of the secret room items are super good or super meh. More consistent and they can get crazy af too. I also kind of like the shop pool since it has a lot of actives synergy.
this goes hand in hand with sacrifice rooms, especially with characters with a lot of health, like maggie.
there’s a way to get ultra secret rooms almost every time. ultra secret rooms spawn in places where their adjacent red rooms touch as many rooms as possible. basically, you should open a red door in the same place you’d look for a secret room (keeping in mind that the ultra secret room can’t touch any normal rooms)

Curse of the lost void is the best void tbh, maybe with maze too. I understand why people wouldn't like that, but i just think it makes void feel a lot more like a void

Do you actually die if you try to switch back to the soul? On the PS4 it blocks me from switching, but maybe they did that because it's the same button used to cycle through cards and active items.

Random tips that will save ur life or game idk: Play a character that u like and then ask a friend to use jacob and esau and then kill jacob and esau everytime they revive and now u can unlock (almost) everything op!
