Welcome to the Episode #2 of the F3A Basics.
In this video I am going to show you the basic steps we follow to adjust our F3As regarding the "hardware" (CG, Incidences...).
The footage in this video has been extracted from a previous video where I was adjusting an F3A for the RealFlight Simulator. In case you want to see the complete video here you have the link: • Editando un F3A en Rea...
We are preparing a summarized guide to trim our airplanes... at least the way we do it 😊 we will keep you updated!
Thanks for watching!
Hi Juan, thanks for taking the time and effort to share your experience, its much appreciated.
I'm based in Cape Town, South Africa. We don't get to see the top pilots fly so we don't have much to compare our own flights with except the low scores we get. Our bench mark is thus set by our fellow pilots who all only fly the "P". All our F3A team members are in the North of our country.
Thanks again for sharing your knowledge.
Rodney
Thanks a lot for your comment Rodney! I am glad you find these videos useful :)
Hi Juan, let's say that you are happy with a nose heavy CG on the pitch axis... You have consistent radius through the loop parts but the plane has a tendency to dive aggressively on the inverted flight, what would be your approach ?
Wow! What a great video. I’ve learned a lot. Keep them coming please.
Thank you wildgoobsid5! Episode 3 will be ready very soon 😉
I see you are not using contra-rotating propellers in those videos. Is the upper wing break better than the contra or it's just you are flying a bit quicker - it does not looks like that - so your downlines match your overall speed ? Thanks in advance.
Hi Iago! The T-Canalizer with brake is doing a great job to help me keeping the same speed during the downlines.

Saludos!!
Can I ask? If you keep the wing and tail at zero degrees, perfectly zero, is that bad? Thanks for any reply.
thanks for sharing your beautiful and also useful videos
what is the rules of changing wing incidence?
when should we change it?
best regards ,Davoud
Very instructive video, please go on explaining how to progress flying F3A RC !!! If you ever happen to visit the east of France (no so far away from your actual german location) please drop me a line answering this comment and I'll invite you
Thanks Claude!! If I visit the east of France I will definitely do it :) Cheers!
Great video!!!!
Thanks!!
What program are you using? Mac or PC? Thanks
I am using PC 😊 Normally I edit with Premiere Pro. Cheers!
@@rombautrc Thanks, I am just setting up 9.5 getting ready for winter!!!!
In this video th-cam.com/video/xbtBMg1TysY/w-d-xo.html (from the minute 6.30-17.30) you can see the complete process changing the incidences and the center of gravity.
thanks...but maybe, if you buy an oxai plane you didnt need this.
I think that most of the F3A models need some adjustments to make them fly the way one wants😜. We have had Oxai models as well (9 in total) and for all of them we had to adjust them and use some mixes. If you see the maiden flight of the Epilogue I was surprised for how good it came out of the box compared with my previous models... which is a good sign 😊. Saludos Rey Misterio!
You are obviously a terrific R/C pilot & your videos are interesting. However your videos are unprofessional in my opinion. If you want to make a music video, do so.
If you want to make a video about F3A, do so. Please don,t do both. Drop the background music, it is very very bad.
Thanks for you comment Peter! You are totally right, I am not a professional filmmaker 😅, but thanks for watching the videos and your suggestion👍 Cheers!
