I'm more surprised with new armor passive: It tells you, that it increases mag count for Primary (and reload speed, that feel awesome) What it NOT tell you - it increase stratagem mags too. Like, MG-43 with this armor have 4 spare mags instead of 3, railgun have 24 rounds, name it - it increased. I LOVE IT!

After testing myself, on all the factions, I can say -- Baton is much better than the spear. Spear has a very small hitbox and a sad range for a spear. Baton was a wide hitbox and can stably hit multiple enemies at a time
I cannot disagree more. Tested both melee, even with melee DMG increased armor, and what I discovered: Of you want DMG - take spear, somehow it deals more, more constantly 1-2 shot zombies. You want more "cleave" range - take baton, its much better at holding huge horde of enemies, but only hold, spear clears same number much faster
@@anpan6282well, on diff 7+ - agree, the enemies number is just insane there. Melee helps, but its not gonna impact much. Still though - it's fun, and I'll use it a lot! 😂

Well we’re eating good as Helldivers, for sure. But always have other things you do and other games you play. It helps stave off burnout and keeps you engaged over a longer period of time
Melee weapons definitely need a buff to make them more viable, buff the damage (really should be way higher, being closer is a risk so you should be rewarded with high damage output) and the range, and stagger for each one Spear - better range, damage, and stagger (I agree with the animations and light and heavy attacks, but how sick would it be to also be able to throw the spear and have it come back to you via electro magnets like caps sheild? Like imagine throwing the spear to stun a big ass enemy and then it comes back to you and you combo it with your other weapons) Baton- better attack speed, widespread aoe damage, and stun effect (Same concept for the baton with light and heavy attacks, but idk yet what special thing the baton should have like how the spear can be thrown)
Great build give been using is arc blitzer stun baton and arc thrower with frag grenades and the shock resist armor, with the jump pack tesla tower (which is amazing against the squids btw) and finally the EMS mortar to lock down everything, you got so many stunning capabilities that your untouchable and when you gotta get away the jump pack is there for a quick escape button, like seriously i had to take off the stun grenades becuase i never used them and decided to swap to frag grenades for blowing up the ships
Get the stun baton from super store and your shield. Then charge into the zombie horde. Beating them senseless. You can swing it five time to the stun Trident 2 swings.
A full team wearing heavy armor with 'peak physique' perk and bring the balistik-shield backpack and stun lance. "WHAT YOUR OCCUPATION, BOYZ!!!!!!!!!!" "HAU HAU HAU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
@@ItsJavaJawa only really for the small bots. Have you ever tried to outgun a heavy devastator? It'll still end up hitting you even if you're landing shots on it. And illuminate miss even when you're not shooting at them, if you keep moving they'll miss 90% of the time.
Illuminate is kinda that opposite as the other factions are glass cannons that are easy to kill but really dangerous, Illuminate are less dangerous, but takes a while to chew down.

Feel like they need to up the dmg on the lance and baton. If it’s not one shot kills on the zombies it can get really tiring really fast

They really have to make ballistic shield block enemy melee from the front. Would give it something compared to directional energy shield.

The old school shield is better for physical attacks whilst the new shield absorbs the energy shots better...

I don’t think you can use it w smgs or the crossbow, only secondarys so in that case the riot shield would be a better choice.
