Not true. That is western racism propaganda: "Negros are lazy, dumb, corrupt, africa is rich" Africa is NOT rich!!! Africans are doing a hell of a good job with the little they have. You can't have a prosperous country by only selling minerals, the GDP/GDP per Capita of the African countries is just too low, don't be too hard on yourselves! Patience, increase production and export and maybe your GDP per capita will raise. Corruption does not stop business - Aliko Dangote. Another example: Las Vegas was built by the mafia.

Ok, maybe you can shed a light on something that dont seem good from far away ?(i know this is old. But the issue is the same)
How come, and why does so many hurt, starve and suffer in this country, yet, the country have a lot of rich people too?
Should we not ,all of us, help our neighbour human , our brother and sister , if we have the the possibility ? It is confusing, many countrys around the world are gathering help for these people, a lit, and every year. Like me, on the other side of the world, are giving money for people in africa. I am NOT rich .
This does not look good, and i recon it may be issue i dont understand.
      I hope.
But , why is it like this ? How ?

Governments in impoverished nations neglect to help their citizens living in hardship and misery if not to enrich themselves.Injustice rules in this World of ours,I experience sorrow at viewing suffering children unable to acquire an education while their parents struggle at earning a living.Raising the standards of living for a population brings a greater sense of satisfaction rather than acquiring riches solely for oneself !!

And this doesnt make the Nigerians the best because if they are, they wouldn't be extremely poor. No doubt Nigerians are nice people but they can be extremely proud saying they're the best. They're not the best in government obviously. They have very good doctors lawyers whatever but Not the best as many of them say. They also say they're the smartest group in the US. They're not better than The Chinese, the Indians and some other Asians, the Middle Easterns.

First of all no nation on earth has created itself. God is the one who has created the worlds and the inhabitants of the worlds. God hasn't created any impoverish nation. For God is merciful. What you call impoverished nations, are in fact robbed nations. Nations where the blessings of God have been stolen, mismanaged by human greed and madness. Poverty is the consequence of devil.

    Solution for individuals
    1) Have 1 or 2 children.
    2) Women- select honest husband
    3) Education + hard work is key. Do not envy anyone.
    Solution for government
    1) Start mass building of housing for the poorest 10%. Charge N100 per week rent.
    2) Consider key managers and officials potentially corrupt and follow government funds from start to finish.
    3) Build major farm resettlements in the 5 geo political regions and relocate homeless people and employ them in farming jobs while rehousing families within 3 years of farm labour.
    4) Sell off to private sector assets owned by government that rich and middle class benefit such as airports, stadiums, theatre's, hotels, some roads, refineries just like we have sold off telecoms to private companies

If there was no institutionalised endemic corruption in Nigeria(by some corrupt greedy, evil hearltess politicians), Nigeria would today be the richest and most industrialised advanced country in the world, with no single poor person. Nigeria, just like other African countries, is not poor, but poorly managed. It makes my heart to weep. While doing a research in Foreign Direct Investments in developing countries, I chose Nigeria as a case study. That was when I realised how rich Nigeria is: since the first production of oil in 1958 (when the first Nigerian crude oil was exported to Rotterdam, Holland) up until 2020, Nigerian government has earned more than 1.5 trillion US dollars in oil revenue alone) without revenue from Natural Gas). I am now doing research on energy security(resource wars). In Europe we think: "Can I afford to have a child, feed it, clothe it and educate it. It's MY responsibility, not anyone else's". Nigeria is poor because they don't even consider those issues, just keep popping kids out without even being able to feed them. If you can't afford kids, don't have them... Think about the kids, not just yourself (who will take care of ME). That's the difference between us humans and animals, we can think, although some people don't appear to have that quality...
Because they just keep popping out kids and no concern about if they can school them or even feed them. Quantity instead of quality

The question of poverty - in Nigeria is the same as other similar states.
Unrestrained population growth compels what little national wealth the poor possess to be continually split between more and more people.
1940’s UK and Nigeria were comparable in population - 40M (x1)
    2010’s UK - 65M v Nigeria - 180M (x4+)
    2100’s UK - 75M v Nigeria - 700M (x17+)
In three lifetimes, Nigeria’s population will have expanded from the same as the UK to the size of the entire EU!
That is the root of the cause in poverty.
They and the way over-population stresses, denuded and destroys the agriculture and habitat it depends on, exhausting resources beyond a recoverable tipping-point.
That’s when catastrophe occurs. But they won’t be alone because Africa is now the only continent on Earth with an unsustainable birth rate and this century billions will die because of ignorance, tradition, dogma & arrogance.

My country Nigeria is a rich country and we are bless. So many Nigerians live far far better than people in USA and Europe even more better than the moderator. So stop this nonsense.
