🎄 The Bratislava Christmas Markets are great! 🎄 They’re not the biggest or the best that you’ll come across, but I think what makes it special is the surroundings and the atmosphere. Slovakian people are really nice and I’m glad I came here to experience it once in my life. If you’ve been to Bratislava yourself, let me know in the comments below 👇
Yes absolutely! I jumped on a train to go to Vienna, and within about three minutes, my phone notified me and said that I'm now in Austria?! Really cool city to explore. 😀
It really is! The most surprising thing was that everything was very affordable. From food, to attractions, to the hotels - you could spend three days here and not spend more than one night in London. If you get a chance Stuart - be sure to visit this place 🙂
I am from Slovakia. I have not seen such a high-quality tour of Bratislava anywhere else. Your work is of a very high standard. The only thing I missed there was the Danubiana gallery of modern art, which is a bit far outside the city on the Danube. This is the type if the tour would also cover the city's surroundings. Then, of course, you must also visit the surrounding wineries.
Fantastic, thank you very much for your kind compliments! I wish I have more views and subscribers for my efforts. Yes, I was aware of the Danubiana Gallery and the wineries, but unfortunately I ran out of time before I could see them. Maybe I will visit when I come back in the summer during the Coronation Days maybe? Thanks again.
Hey Ninh, I'm from Texas. Thanks for showing some love to one of our colleges with your Aggies hoodie. I'm more of a University of Houston gal, but I love that you are putting the Lone Star state out there internationally. Love what you do! Keep it up!
Hi Julianne - yes, I love the Aggies! Them and the Dallas Cowboys are my football teams. Thanks very much for your kind encouragement - it's comments like yours that keeps me going, despite the low view numbers for the effort I put into making them. 🙌 Gig 'Em Aggies! 😉
@UltimateBucketList I always check if you have a video for the places I am thinking about visiting. They are really helpful with planning and research. I always tell my friend's to check out your content when they are planning trips too. BTW, my mom is a huge Cowboys fan too!
Thanks very much! 😀 Whilst I'm not due to go to Chicago anytime soon, I'd love to visit and do a video about it. I've got a whole list of other places that I've been that I've not edited a video on - you'll be seeing those soon. 🙂
Hi Ninh, maybe you could visit Dubrovnik and perhaps make a video about it. Ofc it's off season now but i recently visited there about 2 months ago and it was AMAZING. Dalmatia as a whole could be a great place to make some content on
I'd love to go! I've heard very good things about Croatia in general ... Dubrovnik, Zagreb, Split etc. Maybe I could do a round trip of all these places?! Would love to! 😀
You're not kidding! 😂 I decided to park the US ones because the New York City Guide was taking way too long. I recently went to Bratislava and Vienna, so I'll probably crank those out before 'resuming' my US tour! 😉
You're welcome, I hope you found this video guide useful! As for day trips, Devin Castle definitely comes recommended. Some people say to visit the Kamzik TV Tower (mainly for the views) or the Danubiana Gallery of Modern Art, but you'd really have to be into Modern art for that, otherwise it's not worth the trip. The only other day trip is to take the train to Budapest (my guide is going live tonight). Hope that helps?
Ninh, many thanks for making this awesome travel Vlog video. Your information is very much appreciated. One question: how is the safety aspect of Bratislava? Are there many pickpockets here, like in Barcelona and Rome?
Hi, thanks very much for your kind comments. As far as pickpockets - they operate in every major city in the world, but it's nowhere near as bad as Rome and Barcelona (I got picked twice in Barcelona in the space of three days!). I never felt unsafe at all here in Bratislava, but I suppose you need to be on your guard everywhere these days. Hope that helps?
@UltimateBucketList Yes, you are correct. We shouldn't let our guard down wherever we go, including in our home countries. Thank you very much for your awesome travel Vlogs and prompt reply!🙏🙏🙏😁😁😁👍👍👍

Love the city of Bratislava. The fact it boarders two separate countries makes it even more fascinating.

Scottish bloke hears SNP Bridge “wait what?”
Meaning Slovak National Uprising “oooohhhh”.
Great View.
Aha, sadly 'SNP' doesn't mean Scottish National Party - although it'd be funny if it it did!
It's a nice view from up there, that's for sure! 🙂
Another detailed and honest review, nice job! Will there be a Chicago video in the near future?
Thanks very much! 😀

On the train to Bratislava right now for three nights. Thank you for the video. Any suggestions for non-Vienna day trips?
