Just finished the Signalis demo, highly recommend. It's similar to the early Resident Evils in its gameplay and theme, but uses a refined pixel-art aesthetic.
indeed this was helpful, top demos not on this list (imho): Aces and Adventures, Anger Foot also good ones: Brotato, Lone Ruin, Terra Nil, Deadlink, Cursed to Golf
My favs so far: Hard West 2, Tyrant's Blessing, The Tarnashing of Juxtia, SCP Secret Files, Glimmer in Mirror, Absolute Tactics: Daughters of Mercy and Lost Eidolons. (yeah yeah I know too much strategy here but... meh I like them)
My list lacks strategy games, so your recommendations are really helpful! Glimmer almost made it into my top 10! I'm surprised you didn't mention Terra Invicta or Ballads of Hongye. I haven't tried them yet, but they look great!
Personally I started my round with return to Terra Nil and tried the Sweet Transit for the first time. The next one on my list is Cult of the Lamb, and I got even more excited about it after watching this video. Also, I am thinking of giving a try to Terra Invicta, but it's quite heavy for a demo. :P Thank for a nice list and video!
Great choices! So far I've only played Terra Nil. Thought about trying out Terra Invicta for this video, but yeah, it looked a bit overwhelming :D Have fun as the mighty lamb god!
Aw, thank you ^-^ Some of the best parts are from trailers though. I really wanted to show off my hidden talent for rhythm games, but I ran out of time to make a nice edit :D
Very nice video that definitely inspired me to try out a few more demos I've only played Flying Neko Delivery so far - which, taken together with your inclusion of "Cats And The Other Lives", made me wonder whether I should go on a little personal mission to play every single cat game that's part of Steam Next Fest
@@JennDjinn Seemed to be a problem with the hitboxes (with the sword) and just the overall weapon effects. Pre-release demo though, hopefully it improves.
Some top choices here, also think you've got such a great voice for narration 🙂
Aw, thank you! :)

Nice! It wasn't for me, but I can definitely see why people love it!
Wohoo, thank you so much including Dome!
I feel honored to be among the other games :)
Well deserved! I was looking for some unique games and Dome really stood out! :)
Really well produced video. I like your narration style. This gave me some new titles to try. Thanks!
Thank you so much! :) I'm glad you liked it. Have fun!
Signalis, Trepang2 and Selaco are all fantastic definitely recommend!
Excellent recommendations, thanks! I wasn't in the right mood for Signalis, but the other two were fun!

Nice, you included some I haven't tried yet. Thanks!
thanks for the great previews, definitely checking out the last three :)
No problem, I'm glad you found something you like! :)

Thanks this was a really useful video. Some more recommendations from me would be: Selaco, Gloomwood and Signalis are quite cool as well.
Thanks, I'm glad you think so! Great recommendations! I still have to try Gloomwood.
Amazing amazing video, the video is unbelievably high quality Jenn.

Try Anger Foot! It's great, like a First-person Hotline Miami
Haha, looks fun, thanks! Can't go wrong with Devolver!

Yay, happy to hear that! ^-^
Gotta say, that sounds like the perfect way to prepare for the upcoming release of Stray!
@@JennDjinn oh yeah, i've been hyping this game for MONTHS. twitter followers of mine have actually complained, lmao
@@pgasnow hah, that must have been a lot of tweets! I can't wait to get my hands on this game!
Thanks for this list, now I can have fun playing these and while I'm at it get 10 steam XP per game to get some level XP
You're welcome! Have fun! :)
Cats And The Other Lives 🥰🥰
Such a cute game! 💕
Check out Project Timi: Sasha’s Curse. It’s a mix between Captain Toad and Crypt of the Necrodancer.
Interesting mix of genres! Thanks for the recommendation!
1:40 Cult of the Lamb needed a longer demo to really get a feel for what the game is about, it has promise, but I am far from sold on it.
Yeah, it was quite short and I would have loved to play more, but it was enough to get me hooked ^^
Very cool.
Thank you!
@@JennDjinn Love your content fren keep up the good work.
If you´re into fast pace action like Hotline Miami , try Anger Foot.
Thanks! It's already on my long list of demos to try! :)
4:49 Metal Hellsinger needs a lot of work before it is a sellable game, the demo is not a positive promotion.
Oh? What is it that you didn't like about it?

Yay
melatonin seems to be a bit like Rhythm Heaven
Oh, you're right! Never heard of that game, but the gameplay looks quite similar!
Your voice is like melatonin. Can you come over and read me a story?
Best I can do is keep talking about games here :D
