Underground 1 was closed track racing that makes the illusion of street racing and the cars were also lighter, Underground 2 made a massive open world, more customization, and heavier cars, Most Wanted had even heavier cars but more grip and speed and was the first open world NFS with cops, and Carbon had stiffer slower physics with territories and the brake lights didn't work

By that I mean Road Trip Adventure is exclusive for the PS2, while the GameCube got this game the Arcade Edition, they're completely different games you see?
Fun fact: this is the only game in the series where steering upgrades can make the car uncontrollably sensitive so it's actually not a bad idea to just ignore steering parts in this one. Can beat the entire game with stock steering since you lose way less grip overall.

If I had to take a guess, they were trying to turn the Choro Q games into a sort of brand of "Roadtrip" games, taking the HG2 title as inspiration (Road Trip Adventure). But it looks like they dropped this idea pretty soon after, going with Gadget Racers and finally just Choro-Q
good stuff bud idk if ill play this one only reason i tired the road trip one is after random seein u play seemed cool cuase of open world thing so ya road trip is much better in other words iv allrdy played plenty of these little specfic car racers befor but who knows maybe i will just for the hell of it lol but looks about the same as road trip but just with out the open world fun part lol

You should check out Shifting Gears: Road Trip for the game boy advance! I had that game as a kid and only realized it was a part of this series much later. It’s a really good GBA racing game, it uses mode 7 ish graphics like super circuit but it has hills and such for its tracks which is super impressive.
It's funny how Takara never ported the same game for different consoles, and instead made unique ChoroQ games for each one.
