We have a saying in Turkey: "Do a favor and throw it into the water, if the fish don't know, God knows ". Kindness should be done without expecting anything in return. Even though the person you do good doesn't know that they are being good to you, God knows that they are doing good and will definitely reward you either in this world or in the next world. No good deed goes unrewarded. My word is that you continue to be like this. Even if we humans don't know, God will open your way for sure. Love you ALL!

We had the pleasure of meeting Kaptan June a few years ago at her conservation centre. What a remarkable woman she is and in time, Seher's name will be spoken about it the same way. What a truly wonderful thing you are all doing.
It's always very fascinating how everything seems possible in Turkey tbh. You needed a new mattress, you got one. You needed to fix your seat, you got it fixed. Seher needed to get her organization government approved and they approved it. Over here it would take like 6 months and countless paperworks til smth like that even gets to the president 😂😂

Marianne I've had my operation and I'm just recovering. Its amazing how things have progressed so quickly for the turtles. It's wonderful. Of course I'm a bit post op tearful but I cried anyway at sehers story of the turtle. I think I would be the same and fight after that ❤️❤️🐢

@@TREADtheglobe Turkey is a magical country. I lived there in 94. Worked as a pamukkale guide. I got it under my skin. My trip there last year was of course cancelled but it is looking brighter now.

Maybe you don't remember, but in your video a few months ago, I wrote you a comment when you didn't know if you could get out of Turkey, open borders, get vaccinated, and make demoralized new plans. I said "Please don't be desperate, that if nothing happens, maybe something better will happen". There is a saying that we often use, "Her şerde bir hayır vardır" that's means "There is a good thing in every bad thing." So there's a reason you're here today, so I can't think of a better reason than that. I hope that God will give everything according to your hearts 🤲🏻♥️
To be honest the insane amount of inflation makes the high rates kinda obsolete. The prices has risen up with the currency rates sadly, wages' value decrease solely, not the prices.
