That’s how I initially populated my fish room with cherry shrimp. Bought 6 in a planted tank. Never seen them but everytime I cleaned my cannister filter I would pull some out and put them in other tanks. Nice video thanks for sharing
We've got a tree in the front yard called Brachychiton. I'll use those leaves as well once they've fallen to the ground and dried out. Then I just rinse off the dirt. I'm betting you could use most leaves once they've completely dried out. Tanks!
@@travisdeshotel8894 thanks, Travis. I should start be saying me either. 😁 I think that’s something I do day to day. My wife constantly calls me on it. I am a work in progress. And thank you for subscribing! Cheers! ~Ron

I grow a lot of hibiscus and use the fallen leaves in my tanks

I also pull tons of tiny shrimplets from my filters whenever i clean filters. Save as many as I can. :)

I use sponge filters for my tanks that are 20 gal or less. The sponge filters I use are made by hygger they have a double sponge.
I do have one of the Hygger double sponge filters in a 40 gal breeder. I really like it. They’re a good system. Thanks for commenting. ~Ron
