Greg, you know I've been eagerly awaiting this conversation for some time.. Thank you for making it happen. I hope you can get another chat with David as he continues to enrich the range on offer and progress the company. Love the way that John is regarded as a living legend of audio circuit design. Getting Darren onboard is a smart move. For all the changes in my system Parasound Halo amplification has been all I've needed with A51, A21 and now the JC5 since UK release. The future looks in good shape.👍🏻

David seems to focus heavily on operations. I get it. I am afraid he is not so much into sound improvement. Maybe I am wrong. Let’s see what they will come up with. I have JC1+ mono blocks. Their sound is fantastic.

To me Parasound have always represented high-end sound at (relatively speaking) real-world prices. The JC1 monoblocks in particular are just amazing and compete with the likes of Boulder & Gryphon at a fraction of the price. So I hope the new guy doesn't change too much really and just manages to get the message out to a wider audience.
While I agree that Parasound represents exquisite performance at much more affordable pricing, they simply do not compete with the very best out there... I will say that I've not hear an amplifier under $25K a pair that I would own over the JC 1+. But as exceptional as they are, they do not have the chops to compare with brands like those you've mentioned, or Audionet, Constellation, CH Precision, darTZeel, Soulotion, T+A, VAC, etc. And to be fair, the never were meant to...
Again, a case of either not listening to or understanding the conversation about what is planned, or someone caught up in their own fear, or dislike, of change.

Having spent 4 yrs at USAFA with Dave, Parasound is in good hands. A fighter pilot mentality helps.
How many times have i pulled a 50-110 lb piece of equipment from my rack to send to the mfg. for repair and wait a month+ for return. Goooo Air Force!
