Hi, sweetheart🌷 I have the Amika Polished Perfection Mini Straightening Brush and I love it. I really makes a difference on second-day hair or when your hair seems to have a mind of its own 😄 It brings out the shine and helps tame flyaways. I bought the mini version because it was on sale at Sephora (it’s not available online right now, which is a shame) and the regular-size one was about 3 or 4 times the price.

This is such a great product. I have the same brush. It is so much gentle with your hair, does not burn and you do not have to worry about hurting / burning your skin too. Also it does not heat your hair so much like the flat iron and it protects more your hair and it is so much easy to handle it

WOW! I just ordered one of these brushes right before watching this video. Great minds think alike! I was researching for a while chose the InStyler one. I didn’t realize the Dafni was the original. I could have gotten that one at a discount because my partner’s employer carries it. Oh well... if I don’t like the InStyler, I will try the Dafni. I have naturally fine, curly hair (3b) and I use a straightening brush similar to this as a way to style/ touch up my hair between washes. I usually have to use a flat iron after blow drying my hair straight because I don’t have the patience for the perfect blowout.
I tried substituting the brush for the flat iron and the problem I have is that I have a hard time getting at the roots. Now what I do is only flat iron post wash and dry, then use the brush as needed until the next wash day.
Let me tell you this has been a time, hair and life saver. Like you mentioned it’s perfect when I’m in a rush (which is always) and to style my fringe. I use fewer passes, larger sections and lower temperatures. Of course it’s important to remember that is is a heat styling tool so I do my best not to use it every day.
That’s just my experience, from a curly girl in Florida.

It uses one of the four indicator lights to heat up and by the time I have straightened my hair below shoulder length but not as long as your hair it’s down to one light. Hence not enough for a second use with recharging. Anyone else found this?? Wondering if I should have got the original and not the cordless...

I purchased a dupe for this brush probably about 3 years ago, I love it and it’s so quick to straighten my fine short wavy hair. My biggest dislike however, is after I’ve finished brushing my hair I notice quite a few strands of hair left between the bristles, more than if I use just a normal soft brush. I just find that my straightening brush just can’t do as good of a job as my flat iron does, because it’s missing the tension and true flattening that happens with the clamping action of a flat iron. So I reserve the use of my brush for touch ups on second and third day hair. Or if my hair comes out looking really great after blow drying alone, like I have the body and movement I want, that’s when I’ll jump right to the straightening brush for just a nice smooth finishing touch. Otherwise it just doesn’t do enough for me 😩
