I’ll be honest, spike is one of the best dub voices in anime. I think the reason this anime is so good in dub is because of the accents and expressions you experience when you understand it in English compared to sub where like he said he can’t tell if they got accents or are putting extra emphasis on words. @@TCT24 might be pretty good at the time when it came out but I just watched it for the first time and was MASSIVELY dissapointed. It was by no means bad but not NEARLY masterpiece level. It has some unique vibe i like with good characters and some interesting stories. However, I was bored throughout a lot of the Portion. Imo: its a pretty basic story that aint rlly deep with cool vibe. My theory is that ppl have some serious nostalgia glasses on. Bcause I cant explain why it constantly has the masterpiece talk attached to it...
This is legit one of the best written series in the sci fi genre. Also, the dub is absolute fire. Highly recommend switching for the next episode.

you should watch it in english dub. A lot of the old animes like cowboy bebop and trigun came out during the golden age of dubs so they are better than the subs, in my opinion.

The complaint you had about voice in dub is the same japanese people have with sub voices. The difference is we cant tell in Japanese since none of us speak it.

thank god finally someone watching this with sub not dub, thank you. I was like what is wrong with everyone watching with dub?? there's no way the dub version could have comparable level of voice acting. the emotion doesn't get through with dub. maybe it's it's for the views, I'm not gonna blame them, but I just want them to have the full experience.
It's up to you to watch this sub or dub. But I gotta tell you bro you're literally missing out on one of, if not the best dub.
