Hi top hat , enjoying your tubes. felt your frustration in this one. funny thing i used to have the old cub barrel all beered up and connected to the gun. Now with these PET see through FV I am a convert. i have the 30 litre all rounder and just love to open the fridge door and see whats going on ....or what is NOT going on !!! or if the tube has fallen off !!! cheers

I do miss the visual inspection on the PET vessels, and it would have saved me a bit of messing around on this one!

fermzilla vs kegmenters.. what can you tell us about cons and pros?? space, handle them, lifespan, etc

Thanks. Very useful video. How much drinkable beer do you think gets wasted by the wide bottom with the floating dip tube? I saw another video that said he thought 1-2 litres is left behind. Is that accurate in your experience? Thanks.

I generally go over with my volume since I use 2 cubes which hold 22L each, but only fill 2 19L corny kegs. I've never really had the chance to empty it completely.

Came across your video as I'm considering upgrading to a kegmenter from my modified corny keg. Question... do you have a link to the 3d model or stl for that ball lock gizmo you printed to help purge your lines. That's a brilliant idea and I'd like to print one for myself.

Considering the 58L Kegmenter - have you brewed 20-25L batches with any issue?

Hey mate, ever since getting the Guten 70L I've never made a single batch, only doubles.
Saying this, I have previously fermented a single cube in another large fermenter without issues. I don't see why it would be a problem at all, I say go for it!

How did you find it to clean? I run the all rounders and was also looking at the kegmenter for better storage capabilities (stacking) but have grown quite fond of the all rounder

The all rounders are a great product. But a product that is more durable, more resistant to chemicals, more resistant to heat and doesn't need replacing/pressure testing every 2 or so years will win hands down.
Cleaning is incredibly easy. With the 60L all rounder, I didn't like putting it upside down on the concrete for fear of scratches which may lead to infection. The kegmenter handles allow for it to sit nice and sturdy and drain out.

I got the file from www.thingiverse.com/thing:1679507 and printed it at home. They call it a poppet popper, pretty catchy.
