    Random question but how many inches extended from factory length are your brakelines?

      Far out, did them maybe 10 years ago, I think I got it right the 2nd go, around the 75mm mark , went 100 but they were a bit too long and hit the tyre when turning etc...

    Hey mate I just installed my psr drop drag link and I wanted to know, after you driven the car, did you put the pins in straight away or tighten them up then put the pins in

    • @TeamBulletOffroad
      @TeamBulletOffroad  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I put the pins in on install, then checked adjustment after a couple of days of driving

    Hi there,can you help,ive fitted my new drag link and pitman arm...but after ive torqued it up and re checked it,it seems like its 1 or 2 splines out,does it matter that is out a little,ive adjusted the stops on each wheel ,so that the one side doesn't over turn,im about a quarter of a turn out one side from the other,on the steering wheel and nothing seems to be catching or going to maximum,will it be ok,i tried to remove the arm today but it will not come off,i trashed two pullers,the original pitman arm i removed two days ago,i had to cut off with a grinder,needless to say im a bit pissed off with myself,but just thought you might be able to say yes it will be ok ,or no i need to remove and set it correctly.kind regards Mark

      @TeamBulletOffroad  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah its not the end of the world 1 or 2 splines, for us its the back and fills on corners in comps that im obsessed with being dead centre and having equal lock both ways.. Bit of OCD.....

      @@TeamBulletOffroad cheers man,so much appreciate,i went through it all again yesterday,and found that before ,when it was set up correctly the linkage was touching the bumper bracket,so as it is now 1 or 2 splines back ,it dosnt touch anymore,but it always nice to get a second opinion from some one who know this stuff inside out. Cheers mate,good luck with the 4 wheeling..and thx again . Mk

    • @TeamBulletOffroad
      @TeamBulletOffroad  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Forward 40mm, but the adjustable thread allows for that, but have cut some thread on a couple years back.... Just need to configure the point to point measurement....Cheers

    Hey man, im doing a replacement but with the cozza drag link instead. Though its my first time doing it. Any tips on how tight to do it up?

    • @TeamBulletOffroad
      @TeamBulletOffroad  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure what a cozza is, but all links, you can only do them up as tight as they feel at start to take play up. You will need to check and adjust after you have driven....

    • @dkataustralia
      @dkataustralia 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TeamBulletOffroad Cozza is just the brand, its the exact same as yours. Just wanted to make sure I did this right, due to the previous owner over tightening the brand new one and shattering the cups

    Hi mate, running 35s, 2 inch extended shackles and flat ish 2 inch leafs. Have ordered a drop drag link, I never had an issue with it hitting my leaf u bolts, however the drag link on the J Arm side hits on my shock absorber under full flex. wondering if this will help fix it cheers

    • @TeamBulletOffroad
      @TeamBulletOffroad  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      From memory my shock had a ding somewhere around there too, I've since changed to an old rancho rs5000 which are a smaller diameter, the drop drag link set up properly will clear if the angle at the rear is set up right, also my diff is forward 20odd mms too...

    • @monksy4x470
      @monksy4x470 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Drecnh okay cheers mate, I’m also running the rs5000 shock and have a 20mm diff push, will put the drop drag link in and see if it helps, cheers
