This is one of my favourite SAG conversations and I’ve been watching the channel as a non actor for years. Shout out to Jenelle re her excellent moderation as always.
How beautiful to see these amazing women, professionals from all around the world, strong, full of purpose and love! shamans of our world! I am amazed and hopeful for our world through your work! 🥰😍🤩
A room of beautiful women who champion for art and humanity! Thanks for all your movies! Special shout out to Michelle Yoeh, your movie made me laughing, crying and thinking all at once. I never experienced so many different kinds indescribable emotions in one movie! The two rocks scenes are profound and hit me very hard. After the movie, for the first time, I video called my mom in China who disowned me years ago. I was crying so hard after that call. Because I saw her hairs were getting grey and her wrinkles more obvious. Thanks Michelle Yeoh for presenting this piece of cinematic art to the world! People come and go, but art lives on!
So much talent. Cate said some very intuitive things about the audition process. She’s on another level mentally and that’s reflected in her work and achievements. And just love Michelle!
I love to see Michelle Yeoh win SAG and the Oscar for best actress. Academy members have plenty of time to choose their final winners in their ballots. Michelle can still win on Oscar night. I am hoping she makes history.
Thank you so so much to SAG AFTRA for hosting this actress meetup. I live for these conversations!!! It is so helpful for actors like me and so inspiring, and gives me hope. Thank you so much for holding space for these conversations about craft and career to happen!!!
This room is a cultural cascade of power in beautiful performances of today's most impactful actors across generations, world peace could be just around the corner... Thank-you all so very much.
To the title of the film: it is so funny that Tár means "storage" in Hungarian. Like Lydia Tár has so many stories in her history, she is a storage full of secrets and manipulation and talent etc. The wonderful world of languages and semantics here. 😉
why are we back to online roundtables?! I like seeing them interact and react to each other in person. And theres less awkward gaps or having to wait for their turn to speak.
Danielle has a wondrous future! Having said that her snubb would have been avoided if Academy was serious enough to establish a symbol rule. Not against actresses with less strong studios to support them, but against the manipulation of leading actress category: No big studio will have the permission to push as lead any actress if she is on screen less than a certain ammount of time. Obviously this is not a personal sin, but a structural, and none of this remarkable women should be blamed for her nomination, a great honor and win on its own. So, we may differentiate in movie taste or anything related, but THANK YOU for inspiring us with your work, your words and your solidaritry ladies
They were all wonderful in their films but Blanchett and de Armas were next level brilliant. Two of my favorite performances of this century, up there with Ledger in Brokeback Mountain and Day-Lewis in There Will Be Blood.
respect from how unique this nominees are from BAFTA these actors may have had long/short and unparalleled contributions in the industry the movies they are nominated sealed and marked their names on the film industry
Movies are such a huge inspiration for all of us, hoping you will never lose passion for having fun performing and entertain us, l love to encourage everybody on-line, mostly cinema stars absolutely, never stop believe in ladies, fans love youuuuu

It's time to give MICHELLE YEOH the oscar
“give”.
Cate Blanchett's performance in TAR was masterclass in acting
Yessss
Cate Blanchett has such a range, it’s crazy to think Lydia Tar is played by the same actress who played an elf sorceress
She's great but it's basically the same character as blue Jasmine, where she got an Oscar.
@@lukelee3 I couldn't agree more.
Ana de Armas...you made a great work! Congrats!
when they asked Cate what’s the best advice she’s gotten & she’s the one giving the advice to everyone 🫶🏽😂
This is one of my favourite SAG conversations and I’ve been watching the channel as a non actor for years. Shout out to Jenelle re her excellent moderation as always.
This is amazing, and sage advice from the maestro herself, Cate is such a grounded human, she really is a thoughtful and generous spirit

The unique and brilliant Cate Blanchett! When she looks at the camera, I feel like Mowgli in front of Kaa.

Jenelle the real MVP!
They couldn't get Andrea Risenbourgh?
She wasn’t a SAG nominee…it’s Viola Davis who is missing.
Not nominated
But they dont tell you that you need to pay 3200 usd to join sag then pay 100+ usd every 6 months to remain active...
Has Viola just dipped out of these now that she didn't get an Oscar nomination? No BAFTA interview and now not the SAG either.
Janelle Riley is the best
I got a feeling Danielle will win because of the backlash the Oscars received for not nominating her for Best Actress.
