- Experiments often require a tweak here and there. Outright victory? We'll see.
Be mindful that I'd like to experience as much of this fresh as possible. No spoilers please.
Give tips when:
- I ask for them.
- I'm doing something wrong.
- I could be doing something better.
DON'T give tips when:
- They spoil the surprise or joy of discovery.
- They're about things I haven't seen, unlocked, or otherwise shouldn't know about yet.
- Finding out the hard way seems like more fun ;)

Frank Sinatra comes to mind. As does the Sex Pistols.
If there weren’t the oppressive copyright strikes, they could’ve been backing tracks. 😅
Good luck with your plan Blondie 🤞🤞
Train hard, fight easy. I totally get it. I did sort of the same thing to a stone golem when I first went into the mountains. At the time I just couldn't beat it with what I had, so I trapped it into a long narrow trench I dug. After that it was fairly easy with a bow.
Those golems were pretty fierce! 😮
Yep, that’s the plan, do the ‘hard work’ now so that the fight is easier. Just gotta iron out the kinks.
Blonde, the Stalker community is missing you. It would be fire if we could get a commentary video from you with the newly released Stalker 2 deep gameplay video.
I appreciate that ❤️
I don’t normally make those sorts of of videos, but perhaps I can throw something together since it IS Stalker 2, something less formal, more off the cuff reaction.
There’s a Stalker series coming soon, promise. Valheim is almost finished, then there will be a short System Shock Remake playthrough, then it’s on to a Stalker project I’ve been looking forward to for a while. I’ll need to do some planning beforehand though, more bespoke stuff but not quite as ‘involved’ as season 2 (because that was a tonne of work!). Oh, and I’d love to LP Stalker 2 when it drops.
Appreciate you sticking around and dropping a comment, truly, thank you 🙏
@Blondefire_HeyBlondie I know, it is out of your norm to do a commentary video but this is TH-cam algorithm demand; you could attract alot of new peeps to your wonderful videos.
Reaction video on all the new stalker 2 videos that were revealed recently. Personally interested in what you have to say about the new stuff.
I can't thank you enough for your videos 🤎
It is an interesting challenge, I think. I'd much rather watch this lead-up, the strategizing and engineering, than the frantic chaos of a standard boss fight. Perhaps the Queen's power or even Yagluth's power would be more apropos for this particular set of circumstances - i.e. once he is penned in? Also a pity you don't have more bloodstones.
It’s also less frustrating to work on a potential solution instead of beating my head against the boss until one of us breaks. Just working with what we have. Perhaps an arena like this would also be good for melee strategies.
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie Yes, I think so. Maybe an outer wall to keep mobs out and an inner circle of pillars as the actual pen - with the gaps between pillars allowing for melee.
There are a lot of ways to refine what I build and - if I had to do it again - I’d be able to with less stone, more room to maneuver, and a more resilient and covert escape route. Should be able to pretty much guarantee that the only time Fader attacks is when trying to lure him into the pen.
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie Absolutely! Thankfully you won't have to do that again. It was a slog but you did well all things considered and tremendously well in the series as a whole. Looking forward to the build miniseries now and if you'd like a wee break from building; there is a miniboss in Ashlands that you can find and tackle, with a mystery item that helps to unlock.
Ive only recently dropped in to see the ashlands content and im confused as to why you dont attempt to take Fader on in melee, are you imposing a challenge on yourself to only fight it with ranged attacks and other assorted mildly cheesy methods? Not trying to be rude just curious.
The biggest issue is the incessant mob spawns. A controlled environment should, in theory, limit the fight to just the two of us. I’m also curious to see how Dader behaves under these new conditions.
Heyy! Are you on Discord?
Yep! My server’s fairly quiet so I don’t advertise it much anymore, you‘ll find a link in one of my previous Stalker videos.
