The problem is that in Egypt one has constantly to be unfriendly to people approaching you. Fully knowing that among them there might be the occasional friendly and welcoming person. Unfriendliness works, especially when you speak some Arabic and learn the local body language and mimics. Yet it makes you unhappy and tense.
these scammers are the reason why tourists don't come back. The best way to deal with them is to 100% ignore them and be rude to them... or, take my approach; hiss at them like a cat and run away (works every time)

😂 I love scammers, they are really funy. I always talk with scammers because I have been in many countries and I know all kind of scams, but I never fall for one! I have the lesson very well studied so I have a lot of fun. 🤣

Dear that man only try to help and guide you in Cairo , you wrote that he is scammer ! how come ? and why do you said that ? did he scam on you ? just normal man tell you more about Cairo and how you can reach to attractive places for tourists I see that he didn't ask you for money or drink or anything else ! Please make sure from people before you tell a word about them regards and welcome in Egypt.
If you watch the whole video you will see that I said I have been stopped by him a few times in the same spot inviting to see his Art and other people like him following and inviting . Unfortunately, my SD got corrupted but as I turist in Cairo we were hassled many many times and saw other tourists being hassled as well. Overall, if you read my comment I don't discourage anyone from visiting Cairo or Egypt, however,to be careful and mindful with this type of people. Cheers.
It's onvious...they all do the same thing...ask when u arrived, fir how long, or what hotel, overly fake friendly...fast talking..fake helpful, then want to give u a card or ask that to show I something or their shop, then sell u overpriced tourist pricing
Happened to me in Cairo. Same approach, but from a different guy. Fell for it. He just wanted to give me his business card. Then the scam really started where he asked my opinion for his art work on papyrus. And then as he knew my name, wrote my name on the one "I liked". Keep in mind he just wanted my opinion, and it wasn't ment for me to buy it. When he wrote my name on it.. Yeah. He suddenly can't sell it to anyone else.. and I have to buy it now

These type of places that people travel to are very stressful. I would not consider it a vacation….

Sad watching these people belittling themselves over money when they don't realize they have much to offer that money can't buy.

What's the difference between a hustler and a scammer??
Hustler works hard .
Scammer stops only turists visiting their country to take as much money as possible from them.
This video is so hectic.
Muito movimentada!!
Very Nice
Visited Egypt 20 years ago and will never be back. Aggressive vendors con artists and beggars as well as the constant hassle. Turkey 🇹🇷 far better
It has improved a lot since. It was my second time and it is way less hassle than years ago. Thanks for taking the time to comment the video!
Never been to Turkey maybe next 🤔 thanks again

As an arab citizen I always ask myself why people go Egypt? Maybe because they don’t understand them well 😂😂
