EASY WIFI FIX: Choose the Pro, Enterprise or Education edition when installing (not the home edition) and there will be an option to install without internet.
EXTERNAL MEDIA ERROR: Make sure you unplug everything except for your keyboard, mouse and USB installer from the computer or Bootcamp may give an error during the install saying it can't continue with external media attached.
If you have less than 8 GB of RAM or a slower processor, you may need to use these REGEDITs as well (setting their value to 1):

Post Windows 11 installation, the audio driver might not be installed so there will be no audio from the speakers.
To find the Apple official documentation to reinstall the audio driver using the Boot Camp tool, Google for:

Thanks for the video instructions. I have a 2014 macbook pro running an I7 and have been running windows 10 on bootcamp. I gy et an error when trying to do the windows 11 update and says my processor is not supported. I think I may be on High Sierra on the mac side. Hello Anson. Quick question. After updating a MacBook Pro 2011 Late to macOS sonoma 14.0, can it be updated using mac Software Update? Or does it require an specific patch?

I have MBP late 2008 and hoped to use bootcamp to install W10 on the 2nd SSD that I placed instead DVD drive. It didn't work, bootcamp doesn't see that 2nd SSD. Afterall I placed linux there and it wasn't a problem.

TIP : you can use Wifi USB adapter that doesn't need driver and its worked.

Thank you so much. Following your instructions, I was able to install Win11 on my Late 2014 Mac Mini!
One thing I ran into was an infinite loop where the installer asks me to plug in an Ethernet cable or connect to WiFi. Although the MacMini has an Ethernet port, Win11 must have been missing the drivers.
I press Shift-F10 to get to the terminal. I then cd to D:\BootCamp and ran Setup.exe from there. It set up all the drivers and I was able to proceed smoothly afterwards.

@@jordanjohnson7587 the USB disk should have an exe file that you can launch after you boot into windows for the first time.

Boot Camp only works on Intel model Macs that are 2012 or newer. It does not work on Macs with a Silicon chip. You need to use Parallels on newer Macs. See here: th-cam.com/video/yP3DUAzEM9c/w-d-xo.html

it is the same amount since your MacBook still has the same battery. It might be more or less depending on how many apps you have downloaded and things of that nature. Hope this helps!
I have early 2011 macbook pro running high sierra, bootcamp does not allow me to select the win 11 iso… it only looks to for the installer in optical drive
Well, you should be able to get past that part but, for Macs earlier than 2012, you will stopped later on anyway because the drive is not in GPT format. Maybe that is the reason for the error. For Macs made before 2012 a third party tool is needed to reformat the Drive using GPT.

I tried this procedure on my iMac 27 2020 but it doesn't work, this version of mac does not require external USB. Bootcamp asks to partition the disk, selects the Windows ISO, but stops when downloading the drivers and displays the message "Software cannot be installed because it is not currently available from the software update server". You can't even prevent it from downloading the drivers and inserting them later.

He was trying to remove the MacOs and basically have a MacBook Pro running windows which in my mind is ridiculous because a Mac is an amazing machine as it is but it wasn’t really working out so he just left it the way it was. No, M series chips can’t run windows natively at all. You’ll have to use parallels.

Hi there, I have a MacBook Pro with Sonoma 14.2.1 (23C71). Could it be that with the latest iOS Version boot camp assistant doesn't use a USB stick anymore? I got to the point were I downloaded Wind11-IS0 file. After having started boot camp assistant it jumps to a screen where the ISO file is to be selected and partition size to be designed. There ist no step involving an USB file for some reason. Boot camp assistant takes the file directly from my hard drive where I downloaded it to. Before that it says that it removes old Time Machine snap shots. All seems to work quite fine though. However, installing Windows Support Software then quits with error message "Can’t install the software because it is not currently available from the Software Update server." Looks for me that Win11 is no longer supported for bootcamp.

@@Amiga060 read my post. You need to decompress both iso files and copy install.wim from W11 to W10 and then make a iso with ntlite from folder of W10. Then you won't face any issue with BC drivers :)
I used an underscore in my new key and Windows said it was not supported on this PC. I went back and removed the underscore and it worked. (2013 iMac 27” OCLP Sonoma 14.5)
You can skip the needed network on installation in pro version of the install.
Windows 11 Pro, Enterprise and Education users can click on "I don't have internet" and proceed to complete the setup with a local user account; however, Home edition users don't have this option.
But most appreciated for the easy install, super simple regedit for tmp!! :)

Hi Anson, thanks for the video. Unfortunately, this method doesn't work on my 2019 MBP (Sonoma 14.4) with the current image, as Boot Camp Assistant seems to only accept Windows 10 ISO files. I also wonder if your method allows for Windows updates.
I installed a bunch of Windows updates when I first upgraded so I there is no problem there. As for the ISO issue, I'm not sure what's going on. I actually did this installation with Sonoma 14.3 and it went fine. What specific message are you getting and at what point during the installation process. Make sure both checkboxes are checked when building your installer. May want to wipe the flash drive first.

@@AnsonAlexander On a fully updated 2019 MBP, these checkboxes do not come up. It also asks you to remove any external storage before boot camp will continue.
I think if the Win10 ISO stored somewhere on your machine it will find it and not let you change it. If you delete the Win10 ISO it will then ask you to browse for one, at which point it will let you select the Win11 ISO file.
I have successfully installed win11 on mbp mid 2014, thank you! One question though, it could not install Intel graphics driver. I tried to install manually as well but I get unsupported errror. Any tips on this?

Hi I got to the reboot stage and windows did not start automatically, I retried with options key but there was no windows 11 installer to choose from! Can you offer any advice ? First step would be to try rebuilding the installer or using a different usb. You could also check and see if the USB works on another computer.

What Mac are you using? The mac keyboard doesn't work. ALT should work. Are you sure you have multiple bootable drives? At what step of the install did you get to?

Dear Alexander I got this error “Windows can not be installed on this drive. The selected disk has an MBR partition table.
On EFI systems, windows can only be installed on GPT disks”.
Is the Mac your updating pre 2012? Macs drives were built with MBR before 2012 and therefore require 3rd party software to reconfigure the drives. 2012 and later Macs should come shipped with GPT disks.

After going thought the whole boot camp installation the computer rebooted to the MacOS and did not see a choice to boot to Windows, why is that and how can I get to boot to windows?

Great job...till I got stock on a blue screen with the internet problem. I use an apple ethernet port but seems not working. I also can't boot anymore into my Sonoma OCLP version...it goes automatically into Window where I get stuck saying Why did my PC reststart? Point 1 - 4. which says once you are connected, select Next and update will install. typical windows somehow...it's ironic somehow. 😀
I had the same problem on my Macbook pro mid 2012. The Windows 11 installation could not be carried out and I could not restart on Ventura OCLP. After multiple tries, including attempting to boot with Ventura OCLP on an external drive, I had to reformat the primary drive.
I am stuck in the WIFI part 😢. Now I have to wait until I get a Lan cable to finish everything

You just run bootcamp assistant and remove the windows partition.
