Whoever passed to Nummy at the beginning was messing with him
Hey numot, quick suggestion. Maybe put the draft videos in set-specific playlists as well, cause it's a pain to search through 1500+ video playlists for a specific set draft, especially since youtube only allows only 200 videos to be shown at the same time in a list. I know that it probably is too much work for the previous sets, but maybe starting with the next one if you could do that it would be super useful.
Yeah for sure - good call
Can someone explain why the suppression ray with 2 energy from the battle wagon to buy a turn shouldn’t work?
You shouldn't be able to put a stun counter on creatures that are tapped before casting suppression ray.
Ie.... Your opponent has 2 tapped and 2 untapped creatures. You cast suppression ray. The effect taps 2 creatures (not 4)... And you can pay four energy and stun them all. You shouldn't be able to stun them all the way suppression ray is worded.
@@ryanmeier4530 ahhhh I missed the “tapped this way” part! I see. Ty
Man I hate when something like this happens it totally tilts me and effects future games with that drafted deck
What’s wrong with suppression ray?
Arena lets you stun all creatures even if they weren’t tapped with ray. The card reads to where you can only stun creatures that were tapped with the suppression ray
Ribbit. Best…Draft…er.
Looks like a bad run of luck for you or cold cards
ngl kinda deserved to lose the first round with that greedy keep. i know how this can turn out good but its really bad to keep a do nothing hand
For the people asking about suppression ray, the issue is that the text says "you may pay X energy." Nowhere in the text does it actually say you have to pay the energy. So you can specify a value of 100 for X, choose not to pay the 100, then you still get to tap 100 creatures.
Normally X values are in casting costs so the mana paid isn't optional. But this card slipped through the cracks of the WOTC team.
Very honourable play by Kenji! Hats off to you, sir.
Nah, that's not the issue with this card. You're thinking of the wheel of potential
The issue with suppression ray is that you are supposed to only be able to add stun counters on *creatures tapped this way*
If a creature is already tapped, you are not intended to be able to put a stun on counter on it
@@NumotTheNummyYT Still a man of honor and integrity!
