Qinwen Zheng is clearly unplayable. Not your typical wta gamestyle. Great shot selection, great serve, risk taker, firing balls in clean angles, cool and nice attitude too. She's becoming one of my favorite players. Qinwen said in post-match interview that it's the 'belief' that she'll beat Badosa. The moment Qinwen breaks Badosa in second set, I knew it's over... since Badosa doesn't have that fighter mentality. 👍💪

That was an awesome display from Qinwen Zheng. Paula Badosa is a tough opponent. And finally, Qinwen Zheng came to net when she has her opponent on the run and with a weak reply. Yes!! Move forward, that's even more power to put away the ball. And Qinwen Zheng was calm and collected. Qinwen Zheng had controlled her aggression and not get flustered. Yes!!! Keep it up!!! Keep up the all court play because Qinwen Zheng should win a grand slam singles title!!! Keep believing Qinwen Zheng!!! Anything is possible. Emma Raducanu won 2021 US Open as a qualifier and without dropping a set. Qinwen Zheng with that kind of power, precision, and zero unforced errors, anything is possible! You go girl! I would say it's getting worse but this wasn't even her worse loss. Ajla Tomljanović was wearing Badosa's ass out at the Cincinnati Open to the point Badosa looked drained and had no fight. As Zheng said in post-match interview "I'm not surprised" simple as that. Why people insist to find a big deal where there's none? I rather a honest player than a script reader. Badosa had no chance before and nothing changed along the match, her service is bad despite her height, she's too passive or inconsistent in rallies, no variation, no speed and clearly no emotional control on court, literally her only chance is against a player that misses more than her like Kenin, for example, the GOAT of unforced errors.

The 1st time i saw Zheng..i saw top 10 talent. Her serve needs improving. And her unforced errors need to decline..but those are fairly normal stuff for a young player. I see her and Coco battling for titles in the future.

Very fair comment, Comedic Mood. In a year from now the factors you mention will be much improved. Experience is a HUGE factor in tennis. She is learning very fast.

You've heard of Yin and Yang, the Chinese cosmological philosophy, well, the WTA has Queng and Quang. The former just sent Badosa packing, the latter played a phenomenal match against Garcia. Badosa, a gracious lady, gave the victor a hug at the net. She's a class act, but the moon and stars were not aligned in her favor in this match. Some how the Asian players find a way, the benefit being in the eyes of the beholders. Fun to be a spectator watching WTA action these days. Oh, yeah!

Zheng con 2 raquetas en la mano para chocar manos con Badosa. Nos recortan el lanzamiento de raqueta / warning por conducta antideportiva (mal perder).
