Strength to Strength Sisters welcomed Lynelle Martin to share how we can “cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days,” and how this can relate to our finances.
Let’s look at some resources that God has entrusted us with and also at why He has done this. How should we use them? What should we spend our time, and money on? What about the Old Testament concept of tithing?
Do we look at money as a necessary evil that we need to have to live, or is it a tool that is to be used in advancing the kingdom of God? What are some ways to use our resources with eternity in focus? What is our place as sisters and what role do we fill with finances? How does our vision and values affect what we spend money on? Join us as we explore this subject together.
An interactive question-and-answer period follows.

not all 'retiring' mindsets are all about me. it can be a great time to serve or a combo of enjoying doing things you didn't have time for before... AND a time to serve in ways you couldn't before. We always have to be careful how we look at what others are doing w/ their money. We for sure just always want to be generous in time, monies, etc. But let what that specifically looks like up to each person/family.
Hello, during the video you played at the beginning I had thought that it sounded like the Bible Project and the credits confirmed. They are open about their denial of the Trinity...do you believe in the Trinity?
If God has gifted only one spouse with financial skills, maybe they're meant to take the lead in that area. It's okay to be better at something than your husband.
