This elevator has the feature of an automatic swing door: It's supposed to open when you press that big button outside or the button on the inside (in this case). Some of them have a button that says "DÖRR", "HISS (new line) DÖRR" which activates the door operator. And some door operators activate when the door is opened manually.
LCE controllers are not used to elevators without innerdoors. But this one did really act weird. I suspect it was an Asea-Graham or Graham Brothers (The chain sound from the governor). The light of "Out of order" and "Emergency transport" were lit when you activated the photocells.
Have you tried recording elevators at the Ohio State University? they have tons of elevators at that college, it’s the largest college in Columbus Ohio
