Fuck the cable car,me and my 2 brothers walked up their one time back in 2003 i was working in urnash they where in maglisalp,we did the full circle,we climbed up santis it was amazing and scary,especially before getting to the top,i will never forget we where climbing up this metal wired stairs,people where also trying to climb down,we got off and had ti sit on the ledge of a stone or like 10 minutes,one little slip and we dead,it was the greatest thing we ever did together yet very dangerous,once we got to the top we said never again...But i will return one day
My compliments!... gives a great impression of your trip... It takes me back to 1986, when I spent a week hiking in the Alpstein mountains... one perfect day, having started in Wasserauen, we climbed to the top of Säntis via Seealpsee and the Wagenlücke... at the top we shook hands with some cable-car-tourists and descended to Wildhaus by way of the Lisengrat and the Rotsteinpass... I'm thinking of doing it again this year :-)
