The older quatroes ones were upside down and a little bit bigger.No contact between the pens. My leonardo momento zero grande fits well. I don't know why lochby changed it.
Rats, can't make it to the DC show. Might you perhaps give one of each away to the folks on TH-cam who can not make it back East? Just a thought. Love both of these but probably would buy the Quattro. Seems like a good price for a quality product. On the Venture, if you put a thin journal in the middle of the pen storage area the pens won't touch.

I love the Lochby gear (I have a ton). My wife and I don’t use leather, so it is really nice to see someone producing wax canvassed cases.
I feel like both pouches could be better with some sort of flap between the pens. I don’t like my pens touching each other. 🧐
I add a sheet of blotter or shop towel since I usually need it anyway. That works week and adds no bulk.

I own both. The Quattro's large outer pouch will take Mnemosyne 192 notebook quite happily.
