Luke Johnson I’m gonna have to disagree because see, I can see the future, and I can see this dude going in the books right next to them. Give it 50 years and he won’t be on that hall of fame as well? Shit he already is in my eyes. He’s got the modern country sound to his voice but he also has a unique spin to it so it’s not a cookie cutter song like a lot of other artists. And on top of that, he challenges his voice when he sings. This song is a major challenge to his low raspy country slang of a voice that he has. But the dude kills it. He has passion when he sings. Legend in my book
I’ll start by saying that I’m a huge Jason Isbell fan & I will forever be thankful for this song for reasons that aren’t important. I don’t understand some of the hate directed at Morgan Over this song. Be glad he’s introducing a whole new audience to one of the greatest songwriters of this generation! Tennessee Whiskey is a cover, so is Cash’s version of Hurt. A great song stands on its own & is open to different styles & interpretations.
Wait wait wait? Hate? You mean to tell me people are hating Morgan Wallen's version of this song? You've got to be kidding me! This is like one of the BEST country songs or songs I've ever heard. And regardless of Morgan not writing it, he performed it like no other and nobody else can sing it like he can. Fuck what you heard. That's a hit forever in my book.
Thank you so much for this video and actually taking a good one. Much appreciation when you could've not done it and none of us would get to witness that. Thanks for real
Why is he dressed liked ONE DIRECTION 🤔 Country music stop trying not to be Country. I grew up on Hip Hop, Motown and the Country Giant's. There should be room for Country to be Country still correct.
Lol....🤣🤣🤣 seriously?! Can we all just acknowledge this guy is not playing his guitar and the vocals are the very worst example of edits between verse/chorus inane crowd work banter imaginable? Just wow?!
Like seriously? A concert contains of a back up singer and those who played the instrument. So it's natural that the guitar keep playing on the backround to fill up the whole song. And that's normal in a concert.
whereever your stance is on traditional vs new school country... you can't deny this guys voice is one of a kind and deserves to be heard by everyone.
his jeans tighter than my budget
I can see his blood type in them
Casey Walker HAHAHAHAAHA
dude wearing jeggins, bet
Such a beautiful voice. He’s for sure a legend
Brett Dykstra George strait is what you would call a legend! Morgan is good but not a legend

Fr this song meant so much to Jason and his fan base and it’s really cool how a new country artist is covering his song
I love his cover of this song! He’s gonna make it BIG in country music!!
He already has look at the jeans 🤔
He's adapted the mullet to his outfit. Country boy up top, country girl in the back.
Holy shit 😂😂😂

this guitar in that one should be spectacular
are we not gonna talk about how he stopped playing but his guitar kept going
Multiple acoustic guitar players. Take it from someone who’s played with these guys.
Really what with the skinny jeans??? Don't he know they make bootcut jeans???
It's 2020, but, yeah, those don't really work on him.
This is totally better than Jason's Isbell
Nicely sung sir! Tik Tok buddy countrybob74 here.
Good song....JS🤷🤷

Great voice, terrible choice of jeans.
