Cosplay (and I assume fursuiting, although I've never worn one) are a lot easier for us socially awks with your face hidden and when you play a character. You could even play a mute character so you can explain away your untalkativeness :) I'm very socially awkward, but cosplaying and acting really help me to mask it

I can’t wait until my next con. It should be in December. I’ve only been to one, but I didn’t get to experience it fully since I didn’t have my pass to go into the panels or dealers den :( it was still incredibly fun!

Ive only been to elfia (sort of medieval con) and I have seen a small amount of furries there, I’ve been to Comic-Con and apparently there is a furmeet and lots of fursuiters walk around! I’m going again soon and I hope I’ve got the courage to take more pics with them!!

Ironically I wasn’t really interested in going to the dance competition at my Local Furry Convention but because me and a person I was chatting with on Telegram and then we met and talked for a bit, I just decided to go with him to there and watch. Honestly definitely going to it next time, it was pretty cool 😊
I'm attending my second furry con ever and I know 1 person going. I went to MFF last year (as it's only an hour away from me) and I'm going again this year. Last year I missed out on 95% of the stuff I wanted to see because of my anxiety and lack of knowledge. I hope this year is different. I still had a great time last year but I want this year to be even better.

Me and my boyfriend are thinking about going to (Confuzzled) a UK furcon close to where I live. I don't have a full suit, I only have a wearable tail at the moment. But it's big and fluffy, and I wear it when I can.
Once I went to a con without a fursuit because one of my furry friends took me and there was a terrifying furry there, and the furry person hugged me *I went home immediately*
I love going to the dances with my friends and panels are awesome. Last con I went to one named "Bad Fanfiction - The Movie" it was a freaking blast. I also went to one for writing Erotica (no, not smut or p*rn, just erotica). And I could spend all day in the Dealers Den or Artist Alley. This year I actually sat at the Artist Alley myself. Didn't made much money, but met a lot of nice people.
Im going to sound like an uncultured dumbass for asking this, but in the kindest way possible, what's the difference between smut and erotica? Is erotica limited to more romantic and less sexual scenes?

Finding people to make small talk with is very helpful to make friends & pass time, sometimes there's only 1 panel wanna see & it's at end of day
