Great Video. I'm 64yrs old sub-par player and you are right on point with this video. But you know nothing will change in the game, except more premium tanks.
This was a good game a long lost time ago. But the pay to win aspect and premium overload of experimental/fake tanks killed this Game. This year would have been 12 years played, glad I stopped at 10 years
Not only that but the prices are ridiculous (offcourse you can play full premium forever without spending any, but tank packages for 50 bucks? That's a full game)
They should add a playlist called Tech Tree mode where its only tech tree tanks, while still keeping the orginal game mode. And lets stay in tech tree mode and youre in que for longer than 2 minutes then have a rule where it ques premiums tanks of a maximum of 5 per team if need be.
I was completely against tier 10 premium tanks because of just how much they would further ruin gameplay at tiers 8-10. Tier 8 premium tank Earn Ops were already bad enough, but now we have tier 10 premiums via the Season Passes … for 6k gold? That’s absolutely ridiculous. One of the biggest reasons why gameplay has gotten so bad is the complete and total lack of gatekeeping preventing terrible players from reaching tiers 8-10. I’ve been a proponent of blocking off certain tiers from bad players until they actually learn how to get better at the game but we all know that’s simply not possible now.
@@CloneGuy yep! I simply love tier 7. My favorite tier in the game (other than tier 5). I can’t remember the last time I played my tier 8’s other than to make some credits.
Sure am glad that I am an ace tanker in co-op mode! Enemies crews are all 9 skill firing premium, have better rng than I do! My bot teammates, well, they spend 15 minutes trying to climb rocks and hillsides, fire and miss most of their shots, line up behind me and block me from retreating among other silly actions. Thru all of that, the only difference from multiplayer games is that none of my battles count towards stats or medals. I gave up on stats and medals and multiplayer game grinds a long time ago. Now, I enjoy my tank games and once in awhile another human does join me on my ps5 exclusive platform. I understand your views Soloman, they were mine years ago on wot blitz and then ships console. Now, I'm here on wot co-op to avoid the toxicity produced by the rampant mismanagement of WG towards its playerbases in all of its products! 😎
Don't say they are the same skill wise. CO-OP is so easy you never lose and you never die. They are two diff games. As to toxic messages turn it off quick fix. Only friends can send me messages.

My problem with this game is matchmaking and RNG. I'm just about ready to quit this game I've been playing for 10 years and spent a lot of money on it. They keep putting me in matches with people on my team that don't have a clue what they're doing I look up it's me against 15 players. I'm tired of being overrun every match and never getting any help because my teammates don't have a clue. I'm to the point I just don't want to do it anymore no fun!
Definitely a debatable issue. Of course, it is much easier to get your curser on target with a mouse over a joystick. But is that enough to warrant auto lock the way it is?
Lol I play with mouse keyboard and controller on xbox. Mouse has a MASSIVE advantage over controller with RB lock. Just stop. Pc players always cry about shit.
People rely on auto lock because of the ridiculous accuracy after 6.0. Even experienced players use it because if your spotted, moving from cover, and see a possible shot while moving, there really isn't much of a downside to auto-locking and taking the shot than not taking a shot and you'll pen like 50% of the time.
I don't use auto lock, I've played console wot since 360 days and learned how to shoot. I see my play style more of a support than a brawl, since the snipe strat isn't so great, sit all game waiting for a handful of shots, since you don't have armor. I've played favorably heavy and medium, and learning I won't survive alone, I'm forced to reinforce a side whichever way my team splits off to. I get the worse matches, but I do the best I can, I focus on dpm balanced with survivability, conserving my health unless I need to take a few shots for the team. everyone takes cover and if a td isn't popping off shots it's pretty pointless sitting there, hull down strat is what's best most games.
That first battle was a one sided fake fast battle. We use to have 3-4 minutes of match making then loooong battles that very often got down to just a few players on each team. About three years in they decided they made more money, the MORE battles, not good battles. They continued to hone that so now we have one sided battles 3-5 minutes long.
I would nuance. Games were longer, not necessarily because players were better but because tanks were more difficult to play and commander skills were less powerful (unless you had 15 of them combined). When I look at my oldest videos, the aim bloom is so big and retracts so slowly, you had to really aim and play well to get the job done. Conserving HP and staying in the game mattered and battles often lasted 10-12 minutes and went to the wire. Nowadays even mediocre players can hit you from anywhere using autolock playing tanks that have insane stats and don't need skill to play and conserving HP often means by minute 6 you will be the last remaining member of your team and you'll be playing 1v8, 1v9 or 1v10. i agree with Clone when he says skills have changed, the game has changed. I can see that but I don't like it. I can at times still perform using my old skills but not all of the time and I don't think I WANT to learn to play 'the new way' because it's less enjoyable to me. Might be more enjoyable for others, all the better for them.
The original mercenary contracts were a step in the right direction but far from perfect. I remember trying for the tusk when it initially became available, had about 4 of the qualifying tanks (the only qualifying tanks originally?) to grind out the last stage (Sheridan, t49, 13 90, AMX 105) which required about 1mil xp. This would have required hundreds of games in just these few tanks, as I had already finished these lines, this was beyond tedious... I gave up with under 100k xp to go just because another battle in the only tanks I was "allowed" to play would have pushed me over the edge. It was not fun or really rewarding, just made as tedious as possible so hopefully people would have bought their way through the stages.
I would remove the ability to buy out the stages and then reduce the XP to being a bit more than what you would typically need for that tier. For skipping the stages, I would add some very special missions you could do that require much more skill than the typical stage.

The one thing I would not mind for the contract to earn tanks is make it like it was for the mercenary tanks where you had to play a certain tank to earn it so you knew what you were getting but make it where you can earn premiums as well and restrict the tanks to tier 8 minimum for any tier 8 premium tank and higher and also make the times longer for those who can't play all the time and make all the contracts available so you can browse all of them
I started playing when the game first came out. I'm probably slightly below average with stats boosted only by 25k + games and I've gotten most of the tier 10's. And I have nothing against premium tanks, especially the older ones that were designed to be slightly weaker then their tech tree counterparts. I've spent wayyy too much money collecting tanks over the years. But after taking a year off I've found that I can't even identify half the tanks especially at tier 8. The hardest thing I'm finding is trying to research all these dozens of new tanks to find weak spots and strengths etc.
I mostly agree, with a different emphasis and a twist. My emphasis would be on player training. Huge extension of basic training, permanent long-running missions guiding you through intermediate concepts, with attractive rewards to make them popular. Mentoring worth the name. So much more... My twist would be to reduce unbalanced tanks to make tiers VIII+ less attractive unless you know what you're doing. If noobs want to stick their toe in the water that's fine, but they should feel that they have to get better or get used to hurting toes. The added bonus of my twist is that high-level play gets more interesting, you don't have to pick your tanks from a very small subset.
Cloneguy I would have to agree with you. Have been playing this game for 10 years. And I've recently got banned for being a good player. Basically, what happened I was in a LT-432 light tank And I perma tracked a astron rex And then I let my buddy in a FV4005 blow him away and Got accused for being a cheater. Have got reported and guess what my account got banned They do not want smart players That knows the game mechanics Especially about the tank trading event #1But there are other problems in this game. Like bots shooting at you and they don't even have to spot you. #2 Problem is when your team is losing.Your camouflage factor actually does drop so the other team has the advantage And you can be spotted. #3 Problem, if you are on a winning team pay close attention, you don't even have to shoot the remaining tank. All you have to do is shoot nearby it and it will automatically kill it. I feel like World of tanks wants to lead you down a endless rabbit hole. That goes nowhere So all The new players will keep spending money. I also feel like they're trying to weed out all the veteran players and all of the good experience players.What good are you to them?You're not gonna spend money so in their eyes you're useless
Yep, agree WG are banning veteran players, 7+ years and banned after I was team killed!!!. Countless tickets sent with the usual non answers for reason for ban. Always automated bot responses. No transparency, zero "customer/player" support. Deleted game as the not re grinding. After 6.0 most of the dozen friends I played with stopped playing. WG don't answer emails and certainly don't care about the paying players. Game is unplayable with the server issues, ghost rounds etc. Most of the CC's are their own echo chamber shills for WG. Same goes for Utubers just trying to "sell" the game for their own benefit. Great video.
Agreed the player base is disappointing at best. I still manage to keep my daily win rate in the 65% range but even then it's a pain. I have completely gotten away from tier 10 because of how laughably bad it is there. Highest I even will play now is tier 9 and it isn't much better. Tier 7 is the sweet spot for actual decent teams at least for me at this time.

Was it a speculation when pain admitted they were giving new players a better chance to pen.. higher dmg rolls when shooting and lower dmg rolls when shot by someone else to "level the playing field for newer players" ?? 10 years into this game and I am 100% sure they manipulate the game on so many fronts.. from RNG to teams, to even single players getting low rolls constantly..
It's exactly whats wrong with the game. I've been saying this forever, but at least since they gave the avre away for 25€ the game was done. Giving every player who wants to spend a little money the most braindead Maschine you can imagine, was the biggest mistake they did. And everything after that, it went further down the rabbit hole. If you have an avre player who has never played tier X or even if its his first game ever, he can do stupid damage and block ridiculous amounts of damage, just with autoaim and by existing. Its either hes on your team and hust a free xp farm for the enemy team or he plays against you and randomly hits you for 1300dmg and ruins your game. They went so wrong

Very true. People need to realise, WG don't develop this game as a community service. It's a marketable product they make money from, and they will run that marketing to suit their bottom line. The fact is they don't care about players leaving, no tears are shed at WG, unicum players are not healthy for their budget as they own everything and spend less on the game than new players, who are hooked in by the current marketing meta of "buy up to get good." Each of us now needs to find our enjoyment within the game, for me it's by doing and having LESS, not more. in Ww2 I restrict myself to just 4 lines to grind, a premium for each line, a few fun premiums and that's ALL. So for fun I started to play the game on ps5 like 4 days ago. The training was not too bad but way too short. The first couple of game were fun and I was winning and even be in top 3. But now I just bought the tank under the centurion and I simply can't do anything, I just get instantly kill in each game within 2 or 3 minutes. I also have no idea why but each game I only get a minus amount of money each game...I'm so disappointed in the game and thinking about quitting after 4 days...
10 year player and after 6.0 only play off and on. I can’t stand the avre type tanks at top tier where they can just point and click with no skill and do damage regardless if the penetrate the tank on not it takes 0 skill and it’s frustrating. I’d love to play this game anymore but war thunder is so much better right now but as always great video been fun watching over the last few years.
Players complain but never walk away So there's no incentive to fix anything if they continue to play and spend money. Best decision I made was just walk away at my 10 year mark.
Players are always walking away. I’ve gone through my friend list and counted those who used to play. 70% have stopped playing. The issue is that they don’t care if you leave because they focus on squeezing as much money out of the noobs as possible.
Hi Clone! I am playing this game for more then 10 years. In the last month, maybe 2 month, WOT became unpleasant to play in all tiers and tanks type. The longest game I had was like 6.5 minutes. The majority of the games are over in less then 5 minutes cause everyone is yoloing and dying in the first 60 seconds. I'm truly do not enjoy this game any more. This once amazing and great game became a sad shadow of it's former self. It's so sad honestly to see this game dying. The quality of the players is so low that sometime I think I have 14 bots in my team. Maybe bots player better then really players? 😭😭😭
I was always for reaching a level on tech trees and the premiums being unlocked for that tier and also for that country. That way you would have to grind the tech tanks correspondent to the premium you were after. I have over 200 premium tanks and I have never bought any of them (not played most of them yet either) other than the Shaska. The only T10 techs I have done the grind for are the UK mediums and heavies and Russian heavies. I am at T9 for France lights and USA TD and heavy. So in theory I would only have access to the T10 British Mediums and heavies and Russian heavies for example. Grinding for the IS 7 was the most tedious thing I had done until I started grinding the USA lines (I hate the T28 with a passion). What makes it worse is I am an average player with a win rate of about 54% and a survival rate of 29% so I take ages to grind some lines.
I like that Coop was included in the op. Teefbreaka is not a op tank though so that op is completely fine. The tank is not a good light tank either. But in general I agree with the problems brought up in this video.
100 percent on point. I wish Wargaming would listen and act on these points. They could make money by creating a larger, more experienced and enthusiastic player base which would lead to longer, more competitive games.
I used to play my 4ss of just to get the motherland back in the day… Grinding is the reason I play. I like to earn my tanks. Way more than playing prems.
for me this game wasn’t fun anymore why I had most of the tanks I wanted didn’t care for lights or arty and Cold War was fun until I finished the Russian tank tree (this was like a year or two ago) but what made me delete my account was lack of eastern alliance tanks being added and I started to hate season passes and I need to have premium time just to play the game because of the xp I earned felt rigged I just hate this game and the company that made it (just wanted to add I wish this game success even though I hate it now)
It’s crazy, I completely dropped WoT console more than 3 years ago, and made my move to PC (where I am much more happy). Hell I even stopped watching your videos just because of how burned out I was from this game. Coming back three years later and seeing this game still has issues is honestly sad to see. I miss playing pre Series S/X. Xbox One/PS4 era really was the best of WoT console.

I think the fundamentals of the game have been lost, there are light tanks and tank destroyers. Amour means nothing when most players are using mostly premium round, therefor armour is pretty much pointless. If they took a look at WoT Blitz, they reduce the gold rounds damage by 25%, that might help. Yes there are way too many premium tanks in the game. If they buffs all the Tech tree tier 10's, it would make people want to grind for the better tanks rather than buy them with gold. Just my opinion.
I started playing this game one month before 6.0 dropped. I literally started playing the game in November and after about two weeks of game play, they dropped 6.0. I barely had any tanks in my garage and wanted to learn early on with tier 1 and 2, and made a point to not go up tech trees lines until I had the crew skills to match the tier. Now, new players don't even have the ability to start low, they get funneled right into Cold War, with WW2 being locked out. Imagine never playing this game ever and starting right into the mess known as cold war! Well you can tell when they finally get to try ww2 it's nothing but a yolo fest, only for them to get discouraged and run right back to cold war where they can get away with yolo gameplay. As far as the bots, I believe they hold the rigged rng per battle, that's why you see some bots snap shot you and some bots wonder aimlessly. How many battle have you been in where the last remaining teammate is a bot O-I rolling across the middle of the map looking the wrong way? The devs have ruined this game by focusing on 3-5 minute battles by introducing high alpha tanks to remove you from the battle as fast as possible.
I had no idea WWII was locked out for new players. That is scummy, especially since the majority of players say Cold War is terrible compared to WWII. Forcing poison down new players’ throats.
First time I’ve checked on this game since I left in 2018 and I hear they have tier 10s for sale now…my god I’m glad I left when I did. I wanna come back sometimes but I remember how much they don’t care about anything in their game besides how much gold they sell.
I play the game for 7 years and I can confirm tier 10 has been long time unplayable, since releasing of light tanks. Now we have Warhammer tanks which are unpenneble , but a good light tank can stop them to even reach to position in 90 percent of maps, so they have to sit behind until the game is over . i think light tanks vision should be nerfed in tier 10 before anything else.
I've been playing on console for a little over 8 years, when I started playing premium rounds you had to buy with gold, anymore I can't keep myself interested in the game because there's no skill and they definitely went in the wrong direction with the game. Back when I started it was so fun grinding line's and actually learning how to play the tank line your grinding. I still play every now and then but definitely not like I used to I really wish the game would go back to the way it was like 5 or 6 years ago, like you said where you feel like your earning the new tanks, but I highly doubt it will go back they have messed with the game so much I just don't enjoy playing anymore.

I feel like any take that does more than 750 damage is ridiculous, even 750 is too much there is literally a fv215b183, fv4005, ruthless, or etc. in a every game at tier 10. Not to mention those tds get over 300 pen and have hesh , then you got stuff like the e4 where it literally has like no weaknesses and almost anyone can play it. I remember on pc that the they even removed the 215b183 because of how ridiculous it was at one point, that’ll never happen on console.
Golie gee! Those contracts! Boy oh boy they were tough. It took me 2 tries to get the tusk, last stage used to be 900,000 Xp and I just ran out of time on the first attempt. You also had to grind the tanks that you needed to grind the contract so boy did you get the experience.
My only problem is the UI design, it's horrible for visability and I can't see much when on low HP because of the dumb visual effects. T10 doesn't matter to me because it's not fun.
I agree with you they should bring out a tech tree only mode for the genuine players who earn the tanks by grinding it out. i have tier ten tanks that don't stand a chance in most games they also need to get rid of those shity little tanks with rockets on sick and tired of being blow up two minutes into the game
The avre you hit to close to home with that i hate that thing and still do to this day could not play one game in my t32 or anyof my other tier 9s which is very few since i don't play that much these days but the avre was pure damage made not want to play top teir until i bought the pass and felt like shit playing it that thing has no business seeing tier 8 tanks i honestly think that thing should only see teir 10 tanks
Thank you for pointing out the real, observable issues with the game, especially calling out the skill issue. With all the conspiracy theories running around about rigged games and RNG, people both fail to see the change in the meta brought on by WG's policies with premium tanks and balancing and have a blind-spot as to what they could do differently to win more often. I groan every time I see my team sacrifice map control and lemming down one flank, a strategy that's even questionable in Era 2 and 3 Cold War games. I agree with you on the Tier 10 premiums. Those should only be earnable/purchasable by players who've finished the grind for similar tier 10 tech-tree tanks. And the Taran should not be in WWII at all. The Object 120 Taran in Cold War is actually balanced, being low-tier Era 2. The WWII version is broken.

There are literally not enough players for +2/-2 to the point if you play tier 8 or other low tiers u will end up at the bottom every time, wot blitz literally only has +1/-1 because the limited amount of players and the fact that it would literally have the same effect that +2/-2 has in wot console and almost always screw over lower tier tanks more often than not in the matchmaking and make them bottom tier. It literally ruins peoples stats when the have to face stuff like a fv4005 in a stock or paper tier 8, considering they can hardly to anything to begin with when fully upgraded in some cases. The way they got it now you have to sling gold with the unfully upgraded gun or free xp modules on a lot of tanks because the broken forced bottom tier matchmaking.
Honestly, this is the first time I’ve checked on the game since the big update came out couple of years ago. Honestly I’m not surprised of the state of the game. After that garbage 6.0 update that pretty much ruined the game for me.
Ik this is two months ago but y not make earnable teir 10s feel like they are the big dogs like how they used to the heavy’s feel harder to kill the td’s feel like u have power behind the trigger lights feel as sneaky as a manticore on drugs like for example they put in the nemesis tank destroyer but yet they won’t give the biggest tank it’s reload and clip size back so the wt auf e100 just seems like another td on paper and gameplay yes they get the sales of the teir 10s but kids get shit in who don’t know how to play which makes them want to grind out better tanks they can earn and bring a healthier and better player base who understand the game to the community and the game
The original concept of premium tanks was to help new players earn extra XP and silver. Good enough to be competitive but not dominating. What we get from War Gaming now Tanks that dominate the tech tree. Obj. 447 and the @!#%! Wiesel are perfect examples of play to win. With all these fast missle armed tanks running around in cold war it's become more Mario Cart than tank battles.
Game is FREE so dont see problem to invest little money in some tanks.. pass 90% of game, also take some tanks from shop and really dont have problems with that 🙂
Playing again after around 5 years off, and i literally was like cold war is boring you can literally stand at the end off the map, and quick lock random people who dare be seen and stand still for a second. And WW2, after around 30 matches, i noticed i really noticed the more skill and fun up to max 7 is. Tier 8 is totally obsolete, and i feel like just getting clipped with 2 shots because they spawn out of np where and i can't penetrate shells, wich is alot of tier 8 tanks are now. Offcourse, i know I'm a bit rusty but it feels so different and i see so many teamtes go full in, with 2 to 3 at a time, literally losing them. I guess they're new players who come from Cod and just rushing like it's a fps totally exposed etc. And this is not the only game suffering, lòok at all games, at this moment in time the only game i give praise is eldenring, no easy way for noobs, the game is made to have a challenge. But other games i loved are just monitiewd gotcha games, witch shops always working l, buts a gltch takes a month, but when the shops glitch instant patch.,l.
You're absolutely right. The game is full of shitters. Whether they're new or "been playing since the beta" teams are loaded with shitters and there's nothing WG can do because most of the skilled players have left the game after years their concerns being ignored. If you don't have a higher WR% post 6.0, it is 100% a skill issue

@@CloneGuy they should give everyone access to 9 skill crews for free. Even if those crews have a silver rate nerf or whatever. If you don't have a 9 skill crew, you're definitely screwed in the 6.0 world. And it needs to be free to respec crews so both new and old players can try new combinations. Of course WG won't because that's one of their favorite ways to drain gold from their players

Im playing this game about 6 years and i remember shitbarn deathstar one shot people but you have to know how to play them just want to say that i agree with you 100 percent now i remember space bandit when i watch him play tanks or watching you i was learning from you and space bandit how to use sidescrapping or hull down or how to angle now you can do shit you get penned all the time and thank god i dont give wargaming money for nothing accept premium days but back in time game was awesome and exiting and everyone know their roll in game team was great now nobody waits no strategy just going thru middle with that shit rogal or leman or avre and dont get punished because of stupidity of a game
Moved to blitz because pc version was very difficult to enjoy and have a good game, specially with the artillery, i take blitz and is faults over pc, but then recently began to notice the server be flooded with players that have no business being in tier 8 and up, calling for help, get ignored and just stay in the back or focus on one other targets, it is difficult to win or be competitive when you have 40% players in your team and is only 7 of them, use to be at 60.91% winrate at my peak, dropped to 59.88% in around 400 battles because of these special players, and tier 10 is tricky to play at certain times of the day, the t57 heavy, amx 50b, yoh, batchat, e50m, cent 7/1 are my favorites but hard to carry and do a lot of dmg, 2, 3 even 4k dmg yet on the team you have those with only 600 dmg, or never left spawn, a d thing is that i have had to use some tanks that are called OP, just to get a win because there are those ocassions you do more dmg yourself than all your team combined, i have come to terms that my winrate will continue to drop, the really bad players will continue to come in, all i can do is probably do my best is to farm and keep them alive so they can be shot at, still even with is faults, i love blitz and the autoloaders or meds with strong turrets keep being my go to choices
Auto aim while on the move really annoys me. I think if you’re auto aiming you should suffer -50% to accuracy. But you are spot on about tier 10 premiums, and giving them away for free is just insanity
I love your critique of the game. I have been playing for 4 years now. Too many premiums. I feel I’m being forced into an arms race. The game is getting too expensive
Fight this urge. I've been playing for 10 years. At the end of the day I enjoy my tech tree tanks way more than my premiums. After 10 years my best recommendation is still to buy premium time if you must spend money.
No the lag is infact a serious problem, and what im speking of is specifically for light tanks, makes driving and peaking hills impossible, and god forbid you slam into a hard obstacle "wall" and get instant derped from across the map, but ya know, who plays light tanks anymore because everything is better lmao
I recommend plugging your console in with an Ethernet cable. Trust me when I say that fixes many of the lag problems. It blew my mind when I started doing that. Most players play wirelessly
T9 and T10 premium tanks should never been a thing ever. Merk tanks should of been tied to you must have unlocked access to all their parts so example slapjack would require the T29 turret T136 to be unlocked, Tiger (P) or VK 30.02 (D) gun 8,8 cm kw.k.36 L/56, IS suspension IS-2M, ect... Before you can even accept a challenge to get the merk tank. The season passes are fine (devs need money to continue making updates and upgrades) but im a firm believer in only having cosmetic paid content in games hate wallet warrior. Same thing for the "membership / premium account" but all paid bonus to tank stats in anyway is just toxic for player skill.
I think the tier 10 experience has become bad primarily due to the influx of what I call the "fast track" tanks. Throw money towards WG and screw grinding the tech trees. Now, you can immediately play tier 10 regardless of skill. Tanks like the AVRE and Taran are a prime example of some ridiculously noob friendly, super competitive tanks. Also, the past bad players have finally, after years and years, made it to tier 10. It's probably why tier 10 is starting to feel a lot lore like tier 3 gameplay these past few years. Imo the peak gameplay is 6-8, moreso 7. WG also has done an "excellent" job at not explaining basic mechanics that have been in the game since launch. Why are there zero explanations regarding how to utilize each shell type? Why is there no explanations regarding overmatch mechanics? WG needs to get their head out of their rear and sit down and assess the longevity of their game. Its not looking good. At the end of the day, you are right about the playerbase being a major issue in this game. As long as people shill over hundreds of dollars for these broken tanks, why would WG change anything?

A really refreshing change to hear someone speak honestly and not the tow the party line. I’m not sure if Eclipse is after the click (money) or favour with wargaming and to be a little bit of a ‘star’. Petty360 is another one who’s had his head turned, which is a shame cos he was actually one of my favourite CCs for WOT:Console. Appearing on streams and then not letting the German get a word in edge ways. It’s laughable, you can literally feel the tension. Keep calling it as you see it, cos you’re spot on!
He's after the click. Just look at his thumbnail and video titles. I'm not saying he gives bad advice or bad reviews, but a lot of his videos with play tips are recycled information.
Being a TH-camr, I also love the clicks. However, my main goal must remain, and that is helping preserve this game and its players as best I can. That means trying to fix issues that reduces fun.

WarGaming told us "f**k yourselves" when they took the 10 rounder from the Bulldog, then reintroduce it as "new premium" tank. If I could discourage as many people as possible from playing, I've achieved my daily goal. As a player since BETA, I would be okay with this game dying. They're taking advantage of the unskilled, by giving derp guns and ultra armor, so they have a chance against the skilled players. I didn't really know how to comment on this video, but here are some things that bother me. 1) seemed to be hate for "the 46%ers. I've been playing since beta as a casual player to relax after work (not trying to be a unicom). 2) There is such a thing as power creep. The KV5 and Lowe USED to be tough tanks, but now don't do well (especially with EVERYONE firing gold ammo). 3) WG is a business. They honestly don't care how long someone has been playing or skill level as long as that player pulls out a credit card and buys the newest shiny tank of the week. In a "free to play game" WG has intentionally made the game so tech tree tanks can't compete with the newest tanks on sale. With all that said, even though im a Muppet of a player, I still love playing the game to relax after work.
The context behind what was stated wasn’t anti-46%ers in the slightest. It was anti-players who blame the game for their poor play. Obviously, if they are complaining about the matter then they do care about stats meaning they aren’t random guys who just want to play random games after work. These are players who see their stats, want to have higher numbers, and blame everything they can except themselves.
I remember looking at someone stat's he was a new player only just over 10k games.He had over 3.5k in t58 3.5k in murat and 3.2 in arve only had about 20 games in tech tree nothing above 5. You do make good points in merc tanks i remember doing the last stage with only two tanks that was hard same with machine. WG don't care about the player's i don't think they ever did it's just a money game smoke and mirrors look we just some a.i stuff hope it distracts you for another season this is the first season I'm not purchasing never thought I'd be saying that.
The stats you just listed of that newer player hurts. That’s exactly what we don’t need in the game. He needs to be taught properly so he can develop into a true tanker

I agree no prem T10 prems until you unlock T10 and on the speculation side my platoon waffle stomps ( we are cold war mains) but we are also paired against the other 3 players who waffle stomps match after match on NA or EU for that day we will back to back be against the other group or on same team it's super bad like there is a few hundred in era 3 why do we get the same 3 guys we meeting every fucking match
Too many players leave the game and don’t come back. There’s probably more players down at era 1 because there is a huge influx of new players, but they don’t stay long.
Noob right here at least to WOT. I ground for the Ignis purgato. And I will pen with the cannon and finish you with missiles day in and day out tier 1- 10. I don't care. Just finished the leopard 2a5 tree. Three months in.
Spot on video. Ive been playing 8 years and the player base is awful. Easy fix is that any muppet who does 0 damage in a game gets a 7 day ban from that tier. If it happens 3 times then you have to pass a complex tank usage test to unlock that tier. Eventually bad players will be banned from higher tiers until they learn the game.
Very stupid idea. Lead your team to the win with an awesome spotting game on Prok and get punished. Winning should be rewarded, not reaching some arbitrary number in some secondary statistic.

This was a good game a long lost time ago. But the pay to win aspect and premium overload of experimental/fake tanks killed this Game. This year would have been 12 years played, glad I stopped at 10 years
Not only that but the prices are ridiculous (offcourse you can play full premium forever without spending any, but tank packages for 50 bucks? That's a full game)
They should add a playlist called Tech Tree mode where its only tech tree tanks, while still keeping the orginal game mode. And lets stay in tech tree mode and youre in que for longer than 2 minutes then have a rule where it ques premiums tanks of a maximum of 5 per team if need be.

I was completely against tier 10 premium tanks because of just how much they would further ruin gameplay at tiers 8-10. Tier 8 premium tank Earn Ops were already bad enough, but now we have tier 10 premiums via the Season Passes … for 6k gold? That’s absolutely ridiculous.
One of the biggest reasons why gameplay has gotten so bad is the complete and total lack of gatekeeping preventing terrible players from reaching tiers 8-10. I’ve been a proponent of blocking off certain tiers from bad players until they actually learn how to get better at the game but we all know that’s simply not possible now.
It’s sad that tier 7 feels to most competitive and fun for me. Tier 10 used to be the goal. Now I dread it.

Sure am glad that I am an ace tanker in co-op mode! Enemies crews are all 9 skill firing premium, have better rng than I do! My bot teammates, well, they spend 15 minutes trying to climb rocks and hillsides, fire and miss most of their shots, line up behind me and block me from retreating among other silly actions. Thru all of that, the only difference from multiplayer games is that none of my battles count towards stats or medals. I gave up on stats and medals and multiplayer game grinds a long time ago. Now, I enjoy my tank games and once in awhile another human does join me on my ps5 exclusive platform. I understand your views Soloman, they were mine years ago on wot blitz and then ships console. Now, I'm here on wot co-op to avoid the toxicity produced by the rampant mismanagement of WG towards its playerbases in all of its products! 😎

Don't say they are the same skill wise. CO-OP is so easy you never lose and you never die. They are two diff games. As to toxic messages turn it off quick fix. Only friends can send me messages.

My problem with this game is matchmaking and RNG. I'm just about ready to quit this game I've been playing for 10 years and spent a lot of money on it. They keep putting me in matches with people on my team that don't have a clue what they're doing I look up it's me against 15 players. I'm tired of being overrun every match and never getting any help because my teammates don't have a clue. I'm to the point I just don't want to do it anymore no fun!

I've noticed console players rely too much on auto-lock. Console has too many crutches which I think add to the noob player never learning problem.
On PC auto-lock can only activate on if your cursor is directly over the tank. Console snaps to target even if the tank is outside the bloom reticle.
Definitely a debatable issue. Of course, it is much easier to get your curser on target with a mouse over a joystick. But is that enough to warrant auto lock the way it is?
Lol I play with mouse keyboard and controller on xbox. Mouse has a MASSIVE advantage over controller with RB lock. Just stop. Pc players always cry about shit.
People rely on auto lock because of the ridiculous accuracy after 6.0. Even experienced players use it because if your spotted, moving from cover, and see a possible shot while moving, there really isn't much of a downside to auto-locking and taking the shot than not taking a shot and you'll pen like 50% of the time.
I don't use auto lock, I've played console wot since 360 days and learned how to shoot. I see my play style more of a support than a brawl, since the snipe strat isn't so great, sit all game waiting for a handful of shots, since you don't have armor. I've played favorably heavy and medium, and learning I won't survive alone, I'm forced to reinforce a side whichever way my team splits off to. I get the worse matches, but I do the best I can, I focus on dpm balanced with survivability, conserving my health unless I need to take a few shots for the team.
everyone takes cover and if a td isn't popping off shots it's pretty pointless sitting there, hull down strat is what's best most games.
That first battle was a one sided fake fast battle. We use to have 3-4 minutes of match making then loooong battles that very often got down to just a few players on each team. About three years in they decided they made more money, the MORE battles, not good battles. They continued to hone that so now we have one sided battles 3-5 minutes long.
They're long battles because you probably die in the first 35 seconds
Around 2017 the tier 5 chaffee would see tier 10 and it was fun and the matches used lasted about 8 or 9 minutes and came down to 2 v 2 alot.

I would nuance. Games were longer, not necessarily because players were better but because tanks were more difficult to play and commander skills were less powerful (unless you had 15 of them combined). When I look at my oldest videos, the aim bloom is so big and retracts so slowly, you had to really aim and play well to get the job done. Conserving HP and staying in the game mattered and battles often lasted 10-12 minutes and went to the wire.
Nowadays even mediocre players can hit you from anywhere using autolock playing tanks that have insane stats and don't need skill to play and conserving HP often means by minute 6 you will be the last remaining member of your team and you'll be playing 1v8, 1v9 or 1v10.
i agree with Clone when he says skills have changed, the game has changed. I can see that but I don't like it. I can at times still perform using my old skills but not all of the time and I don't think I WANT to learn to play 'the new way' because it's less enjoyable to me. Might be more enjoyable for others, all the better for them.
The original mercenary contracts were a step in the right direction but far from perfect. I remember trying for the tusk when it initially became available, had about 4 of the qualifying tanks (the only qualifying tanks originally?) to grind out the last stage (Sheridan, t49, 13 90, AMX 105) which required about 1mil xp. This would have required hundreds of games in just these few tanks, as I had already finished these lines, this was beyond tedious... I gave up with under 100k xp to go just because another battle in the only tanks I was "allowed" to play would have pushed me over the edge. It was not fun or really rewarding, just made as tedious as possible so hopefully people would have bought their way through the stages.
I would remove the ability to buy out the stages and then reduce the XP to being a bit more than what you would typically need for that tier. For skipping the stages, I would add some very special missions you could do that require much more skill than the typical stage.

The one thing I would not mind for the contract to earn tanks is make it like it was for the mercenary tanks where you had to play a certain tank to earn it so you knew what you were getting but make it where you can earn premiums as well and restrict the tanks to tier 8 minimum for any tier 8 premium tank and higher and also make the times longer for those who can't play all the time and make all the contracts available so you can browse all of them
I started playing when the game first came out. I'm probably slightly below average with stats boosted only by 25k + games and I've gotten most of the tier 10's. And I have nothing against premium tanks, especially the older ones that were designed to be slightly weaker then their tech tree counterparts. I've spent wayyy too much money collecting tanks over the years. But after taking a year off I've found that I can't even identify half the tanks especially at tier 8. The hardest thing I'm finding is trying to research all these dozens of new tanks to find weak spots and strengths etc.
I mostly agree, with a different emphasis and a twist.
My emphasis would be on player training. Huge extension of basic training, permanent long-running missions guiding you through intermediate concepts, with attractive rewards to make them popular. Mentoring worth the name. So much more...
My twist would be to reduce unbalanced tanks to make tiers VIII+ less attractive unless you know what you're doing. If noobs want to stick their toe in the water that's fine, but they should feel that they have to get better or get used to hurting toes. The added bonus of my twist is that high-level play gets more interesting, you don't have to pick your tanks from a very small subset.

#1But there are other problems in this game. Like bots shooting at you and they don't even have to spot you.
#2 Problem is when your team is losing.Your camouflage factor actually does drop so the other team has the advantage And you can be spotted.
#3 Problem, if you are on a winning team pay close attention, you don't even have to shoot the remaining tank. All you have to do is shoot nearby it and it will automatically kill it.

Yep, agree WG are banning veteran players, 7+ years and banned after I was team killed!!!. Countless tickets sent with the usual non answers for reason for ban. Always automated bot responses. No transparency, zero "customer/player" support. Deleted game as the not re grinding. After 6.0 most of the dozen friends I played with stopped playing. WG don't answer emails and certainly don't care about the paying players. Game is unplayable with the server issues, ghost rounds etc. Most of the CC's are their own echo chamber shills for WG. Same goes for Utubers just trying to "sell" the game for their own benefit. Great video.
Agreed the player base is disappointing at best. I still manage to keep my daily win rate in the 65% range but even then it's a pain. I have completely gotten away from tier 10 because of how laughably bad it is there. Highest I even will play now is tier 9 and it isn't much better. Tier 7 is the sweet spot for actual decent teams at least for me at this time.

It's exactly whats wrong with the game. I've been saying this forever, but at least since they gave the avre away for 25€ the game was done. Giving every player who wants to spend a little money the most braindead Maschine you can imagine, was the biggest mistake they did. And everything after that, it went further down the rabbit hole.
If you have an avre player who has never played tier X or even if its his first game ever, he can do stupid damage and block ridiculous amounts of damage, just with autoaim and by existing.
Its either hes on your team and hust a free xp farm for the enemy team or he plays against you and randomly hits you for 1300dmg and ruins your game.

Very true. People need to realise, WG don't develop this game as a community service. It's a marketable product they make money from, and they will run that marketing to suit their bottom line. The fact is they don't care about players leaving, no tears are shed at WG, unicum players are not healthy for their budget as they own everything and spend less on the game than new players, who are hooked in by the current marketing meta of "buy up to get good." Each of us now needs to find our enjoyment within the game, for me it's by doing and having LESS, not more. in Ww2 I restrict myself to just 4 lines to grind, a premium for each line, a few fun premiums and that's ALL. So for fun I started to play the game on ps5 like 4 days ago. The training was not too bad but way too short. The first couple of game were fun and I was winning and even be in top 3. But now I just bought the tank under the centurion and I simply can't do anything, I just get instantly kill in each game within 2 or 3 minutes. I also have no idea why but each game I only get a minus amount of money each game...I'm so disappointed in the game and thinking about quitting after 4 days...

10 year player and after 6.0 only play off and on. I can’t stand the avre type tanks at top tier where they can just point and click with no skill and do damage regardless if the penetrate the tank on not it takes 0 skill and it’s frustrating. I’d love to play this game anymore but war thunder is so much better right now but as always great video been fun watching over the last few years.
Players complain but never walk away So there's no incentive to fix anything if they continue to play and spend money. Best decision I made was just walk away at my 10 year mark.
Players are always walking away. I’ve gone through my friend list and counted those who used to play. 70% have stopped playing. The issue is that they don’t care if you leave because they focus on squeezing as much money out of the noobs as possible.
Hi Clone! I am playing this game for more then 10 years. In the last month, maybe 2 month, WOT became unpleasant to play in all tiers and tanks type. The longest game I had was like 6.5 minutes. The majority of the games are over in less then 5 minutes cause everyone is yoloing and dying in the first 60 seconds. I'm truly do not enjoy this game any more. This once amazing and great game became a sad shadow of it's former self. It's so sad honestly to see this game dying. The quality of the players is so low that sometime I think I have 14 bots in my team. Maybe bots player better then really players? 😭😭😭

I was always for reaching a level on tech trees and the premiums being unlocked for that tier and also for that country. That way you would have to grind the tech tanks correspondent to the premium you were after. I have over 200 premium tanks and I have never bought any of them (not played most of them yet either) other than the Shaska. The only T10 techs I have done the grind for are the UK mediums and heavies and Russian heavies. I am at T9 for France lights and USA TD and heavy. So in theory I would only have access to the T10 British Mediums and heavies and Russian heavies for example. Grinding for the IS 7 was the most tedious thing I had done until I started grinding the USA lines (I hate the T28 with a passion). What makes it worse is I am an average player with a win rate of about 54% and a survival rate of 29% so I take ages to grind some lines.
I literally grinded for the Teefbreaka in two days, mostly in co-op
pulled out my T7 Car for that 230 penetrations
I like that Coop was included in the op. Teefbreaka is not a op tank though so that op is completely fine. The tank is not a good light tank either. But in general I agree with the problems brought up in this video.
The Teefbreaka is definitely not toxic, but there needs to be something that makes getting these tanks a bit harder.
They claimed the same thing about the original black tanks years ago. They said they were exclusive and never to be offered again.
100 percent on point. I wish Wargaming would listen and act on these points. They could make money by creating a larger, more experienced and enthusiastic player base which would lead to longer, more competitive games.

for me this game wasn’t fun anymore why I had most of the tanks I wanted didn’t care for lights or arty and Cold War was fun until I finished the Russian tank tree (this was like a year or two ago) but what made me delete my account was lack of eastern alliance tanks being added and I started to hate season passes and I need to have premium time just to play the game because of the xp I earned felt rigged I just hate this game and the company that made it (just wanted to add I wish this game success even though I hate it now)
I want to add another reason I quit was the T28 armor change or skin change I hated its new look
It’s crazy, I completely dropped WoT console more than 3 years ago, and made my move to PC (where I am much more happy). Hell I even stopped watching your videos just because of how burned out I was from this game. Coming back three years later and seeing this game still has issues is honestly sad to see. I miss playing pre Series S/X. Xbox One/PS4 era really was the best of WoT console.
The consoles updated and WG tried to be cool. It was their downfall.

Amour means nothing when most players are using mostly premium round, therefor armour is pretty much pointless. If they took a look at WoT Blitz, they reduce the gold rounds damage by 25%, that might help.
Yes there are way too many premium tanks in the game. If they buffs all the Tech tree tier 10's, it would make people want to grind for the better tanks rather than buy them with gold.

I started playing this game one month before 6.0 dropped. I literally started playing the game in November and after about two weeks of game play, they dropped 6.0. I barely had any tanks in my garage and wanted to learn early on with tier 1 and 2, and made a point to not go up tech trees lines until I had the crew skills to match the tier. Now, new players don't even have the ability to start low, they get funneled right into Cold War, with WW2 being locked out. Imagine never playing this game ever and starting right into the mess known as cold war! Well you can tell when they finally get to try ww2 it's nothing but a yolo fest, only for them to get discouraged and run right back to cold war where they can get away with yolo gameplay. As far as the bots, I believe they hold the rigged rng per battle, that's why you see some bots snap shot you and some bots wonder aimlessly. How many battle have you been in where the last remaining teammate is a bot O-I rolling across the middle of the map looking the wrong way? The devs have ruined this game by focusing on 3-5 minute battles by introducing high alpha tanks to remove you from the battle as fast as possible.
I had no idea WWII was locked out for new players. That is scummy, especially since the majority of players say Cold War is terrible compared to WWII. Forcing poison down new players’ throats.
First time I’ve checked on this game since I left in 2018 and I hear they have tier 10s for sale now…my god I’m glad I left when I did. I wanna come back sometimes but I remember how much they don’t care about anything in their game besides how much gold they sell.
I play the game for 7 years and I can confirm tier 10 has been long time unplayable, since releasing of light tanks.
Now we have Warhammer tanks which are unpenneble , but a good light tank can stop them to even reach to position in 90 percent of maps, so they have to sit behind until the game is over . i think light tanks vision should be nerfed in tier 10 before anything else.

I've been playing on console for a little over 8 years, when I started playing premium rounds you had to buy with gold, anymore I can't keep myself interested in the game because there's no skill and they definitely went in the wrong direction with the game. Back when I started it was so fun grinding line's and actually learning how to play the tank line your grinding. I still play every now and then but definitely not like I used to I really wish the game would go back to the way it was like 5 or 6 years ago, like you said where you feel like your earning the new tanks, but I highly doubt it will go back they have messed with the game so much I just don't enjoy playing anymore.

I feel like any take that does more than 750 damage is ridiculous, even 750 is too much there is literally a fv215b183, fv4005, ruthless, or etc. in a every game at tier 10. Not to mention those tds get over 300 pen and have hesh , then you got stuff like the e4 where it literally has like no weaknesses and almost anyone can play it. I remember on pc that the they even removed the 215b183 because of how ridiculous it was at one point, that’ll never happen on console.
Golie gee! Those contracts! Boy oh boy they were tough. It took me 2 tries to get the tusk, last stage used to be 900,000 Xp and I just ran out of time on the first attempt. You also had to grind the tanks that you needed to grind the contract so boy did you get the experience.

My only problem is the UI design, it's horrible for visability and I can't see much when on low HP because of the dumb visual effects. T10 doesn't matter to me because it's not fun.

I agree with you they should bring out a tech tree only mode for the genuine players who earn the tanks by grinding it out. i have tier ten tanks that don't stand a chance in most games they also need to get rid of those shity little tanks with rockets on sick and tired of being blow up two minutes into the game
The avre you hit to close to home with that i hate that thing and still do to this day could not play one game in my t32 or anyof my other tier 9s which is very few since i don't play that much these days but the avre was pure damage made not want to play top teir until i bought the pass and felt like shit playing it that thing has no business seeing tier 8 tanks i honestly think that thing should only see teir 10 tanks

Thank you for pointing out the real, observable issues with the game, especially calling out the skill issue. With all the conspiracy theories running around about rigged games and RNG, people both fail to see the change in the meta brought on by WG's policies with premium tanks and balancing and have a blind-spot as to what they could do differently to win more often. I groan every time I see my team sacrifice map control and lemming down one flank, a strategy that's even questionable in Era 2 and 3 Cold War games. I agree with you on the Tier 10 premiums. Those should only be earnable/purchasable by players who've finished the grind for similar tier 10 tech-tree tanks. And the Taran should not be in WWII at all. The Object 120 Taran in Cold War is actually balanced, being low-tier Era 2. The WWII version is broken.

The only premium tank i dont regret buying, is my old IS6. But that was 9 years ago and the game isnt the same anymore.
There are literally not enough players for +2/-2 to the point if you play tier 8 or other low tiers u will end up at the bottom every time, wot blitz literally only has +1/-1 because the limited amount of players and the fact that it would literally have the same effect that +2/-2 has in wot console and almost always screw over lower tier tanks more often than not in the matchmaking and make them bottom tier. It literally ruins peoples stats when the have to face stuff like a fv4005 in a stock or paper tier 8, considering they can hardly to anything to begin with when fully upgraded in some cases. The way they got it now you have to sling gold with the unfully upgraded gun or free xp modules on a lot of tanks because the broken forced bottom tier matchmaking.
Honestly, this is the first time I’ve checked on the game since the big update came out couple of years ago. Honestly I’m not surprised of the state of the game. After that garbage 6.0 update that pretty much ruined the game for me.

The original concept of premium tanks was to help new players earn extra XP and silver. Good enough to be competitive but not dominating.

Playing again after around 5 years off, and i literally was like cold war is boring you can literally stand at the end off the map, and quick lock random people who dare be seen and stand still for a second.
And WW2, after around 30 matches, i noticed i really noticed the more skill and fun up to max 7 is.
Tier 8 is totally obsolete, and i feel like just getting clipped with 2 shots because they spawn out of np where and i can't penetrate shells, wich is alot of tier 8 tanks are now.
Offcourse, i know I'm a bit rusty but it feels so different and i see so many teamtes go full in, with 2 to 3 at a time, literally losing them.
I guess they're new players who come from Cod and just rushing like it's a fps totally exposed etc.
And this is not the only game suffering, lòok at all games, at this moment in time the only game i give praise is eldenring, no easy way for noobs, the game is made to have a challenge.
But other games i loved are just monitiewd gotcha games, witch shops always working l, buts a gltch takes a month, but when the shops glitch instant patch.,l.
You're absolutely right. The game is full of shitters. Whether they're new or "been playing since the beta" teams are loaded with shitters and there's nothing WG can do because most of the skilled players have left the game after years their concerns being ignored. If you don't have a higher WR% post 6.0, it is 100% a skill issue

@@CloneGuy they should give everyone access to 9 skill crews for free. Even if those crews have a silver rate nerf or whatever. If you don't have a 9 skill crew, you're definitely screwed in the 6.0 world. And it needs to be free to respec crews so both new and old players can try new combinations. Of course WG won't because that's one of their favorite ways to drain gold from their players

Im playing this game about 6 years and i remember shitbarn deathstar one shot people but you have to know how to play them just want to say that i agree with you 100 percent now i remember space bandit when i watch him play tanks or watching you i was learning from you and space bandit how to use sidescrapping or hull down or how to angle now you can do shit you get penned all the time and thank god i dont give wargaming money for nothing accept premium days but back in time game was awesome and exiting and everyone know their roll in game team was great now nobody waits no strategy just going thru middle with that shit rogal or leman or avre and dont get punished because of stupidity of a game
Moved to blitz because pc version was very difficult to enjoy and have a good game, specially with the artillery, i take blitz and is faults over pc, but then recently began to notice the server be flooded with players that have no business being in tier 8 and up, calling for help, get ignored and just stay in the back or focus on one other targets, it is difficult to win or be competitive when you have 40% players in your team and is only 7 of them, use to be at 60.91% winrate at my peak, dropped to 59.88% in around 400 battles because of these special players, and tier 10 is tricky to play at certain times of the day, the t57 heavy, amx 50b, yoh, batchat, e50m, cent 7/1 are my favorites but hard to carry and do a lot of dmg, 2, 3 even 4k dmg yet on the team you have those with only 600 dmg, or never left spawn, a d thing is that i have had to use some tanks that are called OP, just to get a win because there are those ocassions you do more dmg yourself than all your team combined, i have come to terms that my winrate will continue to drop, the really bad players will continue to come in, all i can do is probably do my best is to farm and keep them alive so they can be shot at, still even with is faults, i love blitz and the autoloaders or meds with strong turrets keep being my go to choices
Auto aim while on the move really annoys me. I think if you’re auto aiming you should suffer -50% to accuracy. But you are spot on about tier 10 premiums, and giving them away for free is just insanity

Fight this urge. I've been playing for 10 years. At the end of the day I enjoy my tech tree tanks way more than my premiums. After 10 years my best recommendation is still to buy premium time if you must spend money.
Tech tree tanks require more skill to play, but once you figure them out, you’ll be crushing the noobs in their prems

No the lag is infact a serious problem, and what im speking of is specifically for light tanks, makes driving and peaking hills impossible, and god forbid you slam into a hard obstacle "wall" and get instant derped from across the map, but ya know, who plays light tanks anymore because everything is better lmao
I recommend plugging your console in with an Ethernet cable. Trust me when I say that fixes many of the lag problems. It blew my mind when I started doing that. Most players play wirelessly
T9 and T10 premium tanks should never been a thing ever.
Merk tanks should of been tied to you must have unlocked access to all their parts so example slapjack would require the T29 turret T136 to be unlocked, Tiger (P) or VK 30.02 (D) gun 8,8 cm kw.k.36 L/56, IS suspension IS-2M, ect... Before you can even accept a challenge to get the merk tank.
The season passes are fine (devs need money to continue making updates and upgrades) but im a firm believer in only having cosmetic paid content in games hate wallet warrior. Same thing for the "membership / premium account" but all paid bonus to tank stats in anyway is just toxic for player skill.
I think the tier 10 experience has become bad primarily due to the influx of what I call the "fast track" tanks. Throw money towards WG and screw grinding the tech trees. Now, you can immediately play tier 10 regardless of skill. Tanks like the AVRE and Taran are a prime example of some ridiculously noob friendly, super competitive tanks. Also, the past bad players have finally, after years and years, made it to tier 10. It's probably why tier 10 is starting to feel a lot lore like tier 3 gameplay these past few years. Imo the peak gameplay is 6-8, moreso 7. WG also has done an "excellent" job at not explaining basic mechanics that have been in the game since launch. Why are there zero explanations regarding how to utilize each shell type? Why is there no explanations regarding overmatch mechanics? WG needs to get their head out of their rear and sit down and assess the longevity of their game. Its not looking good. At the end of the day, you are right about the playerbase being a major issue in this game. As long as people shill over hundreds of dollars for these broken tanks, why would WG change anything?

I’m not sure if Eclipse is after the click (money) or favour with wargaming and to be a little bit of a ‘star’. Petty360 is another one who’s had his head turned, which is a shame cos he was actually one of my favourite CCs for WOT:Console. This game has been on life support since 6.0, the only thing keeping this game on the ventilator, are the premium tanks.
I didn't really know how to comment on this video, but here are some things that bother me. 1) seemed to be hate for "the 46%ers. I've been playing since beta as a casual player to relax after work (not trying to be a unicom). 2) There is such a thing as power creep. The KV5 and Lowe USED to be tough tanks, but now don't do well (especially with EVERYONE firing gold ammo). 3) WG is a business. They honestly don't care how long someone has been playing or skill level as long as that player pulls out a credit card and buys the newest shiny tank of the week. In a "free to play game" WG has intentionally made the game so tech tree tanks can't compete with the newest tanks on sale. With all that said, even though im a Muppet of a player, I still love playing the game to relax after work.
The context behind what was stated wasn’t anti-46%ers in the slightest. It was anti-players who blame the game for their poor play. Obviously, if they are complaining about the matter then they do care about stats meaning they aren’t random guys who just want to play random games after work. These are players who see their stats, want to have higher numbers, and blame everything they can except themselves.

I remember looking at someone stat's he was a new player only just over 10k games.He had over 3.5k in t58 3.5k in murat and 3.2 in arve only had about 20 games in tech tree nothing above 5.

Es triste ver jugadores de xbox no mover el tanque en ningún momento, todas las partidas detrás de alguna roca para disparar y esconderse. Ves a muchos que llevan 7 u 8 años y no saben mover la torreta y el chasis a la vez pero si disparar, por que es automático. Mi experiencia es muy mala con la mayoría de jugadores de xbox. No saben luchar con un tanque parece que solo juegan para disparar.

Too many players leave the game and don’t come back. There’s probably more players down at era 1 because there is a huge influx of new players, but they don’t stay long.
It is horible how MM rulez the game.. skills doesnt matter.. big losing strikes... and just losing 1-15 3-15 etc.. 12 games lost... 1 win

Spot on video. Ive been playing 8 years and the player base is awful. Easy fix is that any muppet who does 0 damage in a game gets a 7 day ban from that tier. If it happens 3 times then you have to pass a complex tank usage test to unlock that tier. Eventually bad players will be banned from higher tiers until they learn the game.
