I've seen two different soldiers running about though 1 was just a silhouette running off into the jungle (4 months ago) and the other looked like an English squaddie who looked at me from the river bank then dived in out of view !!! ( 2 weeks ago ) Keep your eyes peeled , it's shocking when you see them !!! ( Xbox CW )
Another form of cheating is when a platoon of 3 block your tank and harass you and don't let you play the game on purpose. I've actually had a platoon of players block my tank and push me into a wall and not let me out the entire game. They actually surrounded my tank and then ended up not shooting and just sitting there and allowing their tanks to be destroyed. And then of course I died. That's harassment and cheating

For an example, discord streaming capture card shared screen inside of a private call. Opposite teams using each other's maps. I've heard of people doing that, but it's hard to prove
"It's a server-side game" is a BS argument. It can only mean that _certain_ cheats are impossible, but nowhere near all of them. As an example, property damage is done on the client, and that can be used to track unseen tanks across the map. Other options would be visual aids, eg. color broken equipment bright red. I have no idea how hard it would be to write a cheat on console, but "server-side" is not the barrier you think it is.
Good video Riki. Far too many tinfoil hat wearers out there. With regards to your last point, it's not purely because someone is better than you that they destroyed your virtual tank in a computer game (diddums!), it may just be the luck of the draw: their tank might be better suited to the map, their tank class might be the antithesis of the one you are using, they might get some good RNG rolls, etc. Luck can lead to good games, it certainly explains most of mine :)
The real cheat in wot is "RNG" rigged number generator. Forced losses like the steam rolling of teams losing 10-0 tanks show how intrusive RNG is. Look at players stats and tell me how the 5-7k wn8 players shoot 19 shots and get 1-3 pens with 15 or more hitting the target. That's not how to get high wn8. Example that I experienced a lot, I have no issues with getting DMG until I get a tank to exactly 99.50 DMG standing and suddenly I'll have 3 battles straight where my shots go nowhere near my aim or I bounce every shot except 1 until my DMG standing drops to 98% or lower then my shots become normal again. My skill and ability to shoot doesn't change between battles
In my opinion the only way to gain an unfair advantage in wotc is by playing keyboard and mouse like i do but even then there are still players that play on controller that will run rings around you P.s for anyone saying you cant play legally keyboard and mouse there are setting in the game to remap you keybinds when its connected and the game allows you to play with it
The problem is RNG which sometimes works same as cheating. For example I have seen FV4005 destroys all light tanks one by one with single shots and then the whole enemy team. Is it happen every game? No. But when it happens it feels like cheating. The same for Fv4211. I remember a game we were 5 players and enemy Fv4211 just take a position near a wall and tanked a solid 50k damage and won the game, bouncing everything from his behind and sides, penetrating everything with each shot with snapshots. Is it happen every game? No, but when it happens, it feels cheating. Basically RNG is very very broken in this game, comepeletly control the game. There are some mechanics such as explosion of ammo rack, firing, bouncing, and all other staff which RNG uses to comepeletly reverse the game results in its favor, but victims can't do anything.

I've only seen a garage bugged out once and it wasn't moded. It was a guy I used to play with and he had 2 tanks glitched inside one another somehow. He didn't even know what happened but he shared a screenshot. I've never seen cheating.

Your example of two platoons being on different sides but knowing one another. What if they were all in the same room, each player would have visibility of where all the players are on the map?

No in all seriousness, these group/platoons/accounts tend to choose the same tanks, so there's a higher likelihood of matching making putting them on opposite teams. The winning side (same) tanks end up at the top of the results and, the losing side (same) tanks end up at the bottom. Paranoia vent over.
@@dodgeysolenoid5567 one thing you can do is record what you feel is happening and see if what you actually experience lines up with what you feel you’re experiencing. I’ve done this many times especially when wanting to record a video. I’ll head out into battle with the goal of demonstrating something to be wrong or an be an issue, only to prove myself wrong and find it’s all in my head.
You can't cheat on console, console is a "closed system", not like regular computer, where you can use console commands and what not (except like Riki explained in the video...by people boosting each other etc).
I have recently seen two clips on Reddit of a player's tank getting drowned but it was still operable after the drowning and dying sequence. After coming back to life these players were somehow still able to cause damage to alive players even though they just drowned to death. Obviously this is a glitch and WG can fix it. Other than that which I have only seen recently I cannot recall any other examples of outright cheating. Great video mate!
I use to play on console when it was on the 360 and just started playing just a few days ago from playing blitz for years. It seems like bots are more and more i play lol. Cause i would get like 6k to 7k damage per game on multiplayer cold war. So i dont see why people say there's cheaters when the game isn't that difficult lol
@Rikitikitave You really didn't look very closely at the Chronos Zen and it's capabilities. You merely made a comparison to something familiar to you which could provide macros. The Zen though more utilized on games such as CoD or Fortnite provides configurable aim assistance. Uses include recoil compensation or enhancing in game aim assistance. As WoTMA has in game aim assist, never being adequate enough to lead shots against faster vehicles. The Zen can be, and has been, configured to enhance the existing inputs of aim assist. This provides the correct lead of shots necessary to hit targets the in game aim assist will otherwise miss. You need to do your homework rather than making blanket statements such as "this is not possible." The Zen does not affect the server side as it is just an intermediary between the controller and the game console which makes detection outside of using some sort of algorithm to recognize scaled auto aim inputs which track with the auto locked targets. I have responded to other videos you have made in the past without ever receiving acknowledgement, which leads me to believe you will ignore this as well. I guess I am just posting this here so if anyone does read this they will not be so misinformed by your video(s) without maybe thinking for themselves.
Cronus Zen has aim assist but doesn’t help players lead shots by the correct distance. Boosting the in game aim assist wouldn’t benefit players in this game.
@@Rikitikitave They are configurable, people can download specific mods for the Zen which when applied in game can be used to great effect for different applications. If someone is using it for a shell velocity of say 1600, they would then just reconfigure it to work for slower velocities of 900m/sec. What makes you so certain that it is not usable within this game in particular? The strength of the auto aim is scalable with the chronos zen.

Perhaps wargaming could provide you with the go ahead to allow you as a CC to investigate this device first hand. I hear these devices are readily available at many retail outlets for less than the cost of an extra controller. Not a huge cost for possibly multiple videos worth of content. Finding a reputable mod download either for sale or free download maybe the time consuming detractor.
Cronus zen can 100% lead shots. You should try one before you say what it can and can't do. Best example is battlefield shots need to be lead and bullet drops too and the Cronus can do that. Tanks and different ammo and velocity don't matter because each tank has a script to match it's velocity and leading. Just like cod each gun has scripts to match the recoil or fire rates. It's all about finding or making the script
Pretty sure a TH-cam accused me of cheating. Got a bunch of random messages from people I’ve never played with saying I’m reported for cheating. Eventually I just said “I like to use hax” 💀. Some people just don’t get it
It is no use to try to convince people that are sure they know it all. When WoT introduced the Series X/S and PS5 version of the game I posted that the frame rate went up to 60 percent and one guy said is was not true because Wargaming would not give that advantage to a part of the gamers. He was absolutely sure of this and could not be convinced. Clearly he knew better than I, while I owned a Series X and could see the evidence in front of me.
I would question how the difference in FPS would impact WoTMA versus first person twitch shooters. Having a smooth, high framerate would certainly help the performance in a game where the gun is always aimed right where you put the reticle as fast as you can move your mouse. But and however, tanks have limited traverse rates, and WoT's server-side aiming reticle is lagged relative to what you see, anyway. Getting your view around faster or smoother doesn't get your gun on target any faster. The only mechanic I could see where it might make a difference would be with the ATGM designator, but it even lags.
Being able to lead your shots is the key, I killed a FV101 across the Westfield map in one game and got a serious amount of abuse and obviously I was accused of cheating
I always figured that was a way for people to salve their egos if they had a lag spike take them out in a match. Online games CAN be subject to DDOS attacks, but the majority of lag spikes is just comms issues between the game server and your client. Even the best ISPs are not 100% consistent.
This is also a possibility for people to use to their advantage. I have no personal way of proving or disproving this myself beyond taking live video recordings as well as maybe looking at the replay system video. For my experience, though not often, as expected not many people utilize such a crutch for their poor in game performance as this. However on occasion when I am getting ready to line up my shot or prepareto or have already fired after providing adequate lead, at what is usually a very close to semi-close target 10m-100m away from my experience. The game will lag for me, or more precisely the target I plan to hit desynchronizes from the game and suddenly gets to warp forward 1/2 to 1 tank length from where he was while maintaining his same speed causing my shot to miss. This may at times be just coincidence with bad timing of lag, however from my experience I will continue to lag throughout the match and multiple matches as opposed to just a singular moment against a singular target. This is what leads me to the conclusion that the opponent was in fact utilizing a lag switch to benefit themselves while they prepare to reload, relocate or launch a counter attack. I would be interested in anyone else's experience with what I have described here.

I applaud anyone defending Whore Gaming, I could go into detail but we all know bullshit MM, continuously single tier 8 in a 14 tier 10 match, inundated with bots and low skill/camping Russian players. Cold War era 1 bearable, usually platoons of Shit Barns instead of WW2 artillery.Era 2/3 just a Guy Faulkes night of ATGM's from scouts and TD's. Maybe, just maybe you could be wrong. Whore Gaming like CC's talking up the game but after 10 years I only see downward decline of game. The server is now lagging hence continuous ghost rounds and we can see them in replays going straight through. The bounced round on a kill shot or leaving enemy on 1 hit point..lmfao...just to get ammo racked by self same enemy and blow turret. The clueless bots and even worse "live" players!!! 10 of my usual platoon (not clan) players have dumped game...after 6.0...I stopped playing twice after WWE and 6.0mfg. 3 of us occasionally play. I even did 2 months long hauls to get 16 private war chests..d'uh. Tonight I got the usual "Well done blah blah" 12000 gold at 15% off for Captured Tiger...thats £25.00. Five matches later...tadaaa... 9900 gold for same tank. Now, you can defend this bullshit as much as you like but you can't keep pissing on my head, and the long suffering loyal players, and tell me it's raining. Most of the NA server players are on EU server because there isn't enough players anymore.
Sounds like you’re reaching the end of your rope with the game. You and many other long term players often have the same complaints. There are issues and they are being worked on, but it always takes too long.
It could be an exploit, which is a form of cheating. If the designers had otherwise blocked an area, but a push in the right way glitchs your tank through, doing that deliberately could be considered cheating. That's a hard call when it's pushing someone up a cliff to someplace otherwise inaccessible. A more clear example would be glitching someone into a building, though most of those examples are from WoTPC. Then there was always the entertaining launch into orbit by glitching on a detached turret...
That macro thing The only advantage with that is how fast it recognises the trigger input ? I’ve got good ping and the amount of times I’ve pressed to fire the shell the delay seems not to recognise it just before I died The only of cheating in the game is either killing your own teammates, same clans but in different sides telling each other where players are in party or arranged moe exploiting in cw mode increasing the damage with the tank hp repair

@@thackest2kI am not really sure how you are interpreting this, however if I am right you are speaking of the force or "heptic?" sp. feedback which I think was on by default on my PS5 controller. I did not like this myself, and disabled this option in the controller settings. I hope my response helps you.
You could technically try a trigger mod but the advantage would be minuscule as holding the trigger while the gun reloads will cause the gun to fire as soon as the timer hits 0.

Another way to cheat WOT console is when you have one platoon playing in one team and another platoon in the other team and they all are in the same party and speak to each other so they uncover the position of enemy players. It happened to me when one member of the enemy player who was in the same clan, same party, but on the opposite team knew always where I was. Hope that makes sense.

Farming people you know is cheating and should be reported. Tanks like the AVRE, Taran and Rogal do ruin the game experience for people grinding their TT tanks. That’s a WG issue though and I’ll bring that to their attention.

That’s more the match maker than RNG. 5 FV4211 on one team is tough luck. FV4005s hitting every light tank is just good play.

Cronus Zen has aim assist but doesn’t help players lead shots by the correct distance. Boosting the in game aim assist wouldn’t benefit players in this game.
@@Rikitikitave They are configurable, people can download specific mods for the Zen which when applied in game can be used to great effect for different applications. If someone is using it for a shell velocity of say 1600, they would then just reconfigure it to work for slower velocities of 900m/sec. What makes you so certain that it is not usable within this game in particular? The strength of the auto aim is scalable with the chronos zen.
@@m.l.3649 you need more than a single shell velocity stat to hit moving targets at varying ranges. Modding aim assist won’t help.
@@Rikitikitave I think this is something which would need to be tested, using the scientific method. Perhaps wargaming could provide you with the go ahead to allow you as a CC to investigate this device first hand. I hear these devices are readily available at many retail outlets for less than the cost of an extra controller. Not a huge cost for possibly multiple videos worth of content. Finding a reputable mod download either for sale or free download maybe the time consuming detractor.
Cronus zen can 100% lead shots. You should try one before you say what it can and can't do. Best example is battlefield shots need to be lead and bullet drops too and the Cronus can do that. Tanks and different ammo and velocity don't matter because each tank has a script to match it's velocity and leading. Just like cod each gun has scripts to match the recoil or fire rates. It's all about finding or making the script
Pretty sure a TH-cam accused me of cheating. Got a bunch of random messages from people I’ve never played with saying I’m reported for cheating. Eventually I just said “I like to use hax” 💀. Some people just don’t get it
It is no use to try to convince people that are sure they know it all. When WoT introduced the Series X/S and PS5 version of the game I posted that the frame rate went up to 60 percent and one guy said is was not true because Wargaming would not give that advantage to a part of the gamers.
He was absolutely sure of this and could not be convinced.
Clearly he knew better than I, while I owned a Series X and could see the evidence in front of me.
I would question how the difference in FPS would impact WoTMA versus first person twitch shooters. Having a smooth, high framerate would certainly help the performance in a game where the gun is always aimed right where you put the reticle as fast as you can move your mouse. But and however, tanks have limited traverse rates, and WoT's server-side aiming reticle is lagged relative to what you see, anyway. Getting your view around faster or smoother doesn't get your gun on target any faster. The only mechanic I could see where it might make a difference would be with the ATGM designator, but it even lags.
Sometimes it’s best to walk away, can’t convince some people.

I play with someone who is so good at killing those damn light tanks with a Derpstar that I actually COUNT on it now and am shocked when he misses.
Being able to lead your shots is the key, I killed a FV101 across the Westfield map in one game and got a serious amount of abuse and obviously I was accused of cheating

Is there a way to use a lag switch? I have fast internet, but at times some friends I play with say someone lag switched them.
I always figured that was a way for people to salve their egos if they had a lag spike take them out in a match. Online games CAN be subject to DDOS attacks, but the majority of lag spikes is just comms issues between the game server and your client. Even the best ISPs are not 100% consistent.
This is also a possibility for people to use to their advantage. I have no personal way of proving or disproving this myself beyond taking live video recordings as well as maybe looking at the replay system video. For my experience, though not often, as expected not many people utilize such a crutch for their poor in game performance as this. However on occasion when I am getting ready to line up my shot or prepareto or have already fired after providing adequate lead, at what is usually a very close to semi-close target 10m-100m away from my experience. The game will lag for me, or more precisely the target I plan to hit desynchronizes from the game and suddenly gets to warp forward 1/2 to 1 tank length from where he was while maintaining his same speed causing my shot to miss. This may at times be just coincidence with bad timing of lag, however from my experience I will continue to lag throughout the match and multiple matches as opposed to just a singular moment against a singular target. This is what leads me to the conclusion that the opponent was in fact utilizing a lag switch to benefit themselves while they prepare to reload, relocate or launch a counter attack. I would be interested in anyone else's experience with what I have described here.

I applaud anyone defending Whore Gaming, I could go into detail but we all know bullshit MM, continuously single tier 8 in a 14 tier 10 match, inundated with bots and low skill/camping Russian players. Cold War era 1 bearable, usually platoons of Shit Barns instead of WW2 artillery.Era 2/3 just a Guy Faulkes night of ATGM's from scouts and TD's. Maybe, just maybe you could be wrong. Whore Gaming like CC's talking up the game but after 10 years I only see downward decline of game. The server is now lagging hence continuous ghost rounds and we can see them in replays going straight through. The bounced round on a kill shot or leaving enemy on 1 hit point..lmfao...just to get ammo racked by self same enemy and blow turret. The clueless bots and even worse "live" players!!! 10 of my usual platoon (not clan) players have dumped game...after 6.0...I stopped playing twice after WWE and 6.0mfg. 3 of us occasionally play. I even did 2 months long hauls to get 16 private war chests..d'uh. Tonight I got the usual "Well done blah blah" 12000 gold at 15% off for Captured Tiger...thats £25.00. Five matches later...tadaaa... 9900 gold for same tank. Now, you can defend this bullshit as much as you like but you can't keep pissing on my head, and the long suffering loyal players, and tell me it's raining. Most of the NA server players are on EU server because there isn't enough players anymore.
Sounds like you’re reaching the end of your rope with the game. You and many other long term players often have the same complaints. There are issues and they are being worked on, but it always takes too long.

Could another form of cheating be a smaller tank being pushed by a larger tank into an unreachable zone?
I would call it strategy. Its basically get a hand to get there. So I would say no.
It could be an exploit, which is a form of cheating. If the designers had otherwise blocked an area, but a push in the right way glitchs your tank through, doing that deliberately could be considered cheating. That's a hard call when it's pushing someone up a cliff to someplace otherwise inaccessible. A more clear example would be glitching someone into a building, though most of those examples are from WoTPC. Then there was always the entertaining launch into orbit by glitching on a detached turret...
I’d say that’s strategy and some rare sandbox thinking.

I’ve got good ping and the amount of times I’ve pressed to fire the shell the delay seems not to recognise it just before I died
The only of cheating in the game is either killing your own teammates, same clans but in different sides telling each other where players are in party or arranged moe exploiting in cw mode increasing the damage with the tank hp repair

@@thackest2kI am not really sure how you are interpreting this, however if I am right you are speaking of the force or "heptic?" sp. feedback which I think was on by default on my PS5 controller. I did not like this myself, and disabled this option in the controller settings. I hope my response helps you.
You could technically try a trigger mod but the advantage would be minuscule as holding the trigger while the gun reloads will cause the gun to fire as soon as the timer hits 0.

Another way to cheat WOT console is when you have one platoon playing in one team and another platoon in the other team and they all are in the same party and speak to each other so they uncover the position of enemy players. It happened to me when one member of the enemy player who was in the same clan, same party, but on the opposite team knew always where I was.

Farming people you know is cheating and should be reported.
Tanks like the AVRE, Taran and Rogal do ruin the game experience for people grinding their TT tanks. That’s a WG issue though and I’ll bring that to their attention.
