We are so excited to take you along with us to experience the vibrant Sonam Lhosar festival here in Kathmandu!
We were thrilled to witness this cultural extravaganza that marks the beginning of the Tamang New Year. We met so many locals who shared their stories and experiences of the festival and the Tamang Community with us, which gave us a deeper understanding of the significance of the day. The energy and enthusiasm of the people was infectious, and we found ourselves joining in the celebrations by dancing and singing with the locals.
