some pretty obvious timeloss w mega taiga + skulls but otherwise run is near flawless, nothing really went wrong in the midgame which is why the pace felt so amazing at 1:35ish

While it’s a bit outdated at this point, Smallant has a pretty good video reacting to one of feinberg’s old records and explaining what he’s doing during the whole thing. Definitely worth a watch if you want more insight into what he’s doing and the amount of things he’s focused on and making happen throughout the whole run

Just imagine how much time he could've saved from all the small mistakes, bit unlucky on skulls, and mostly from getting rolled by the biomes, especially the mega taiga and mushroom island.
Once again, if someone should ask if sub 2 is possible, just remember he spent pretty much 15 minutes in search of the last biomes, without doing too much besides that, and again having some timeloss adding up by small mistakes he usually doesn't make plus skulls.
It's funny how people think a 10 min WR improvement is crazy, I mean, it is, but in my opinion it's pretty much: If you get lucky enough, the next improvement could be 20 mins.
Anyways, excited to see something different coming up, whatever it might be. 1.16 is awesome to watch, but after all the improvement in the past years, basically cutting the time though possible in half, I would be VERY interested what happens if he runs 1.20 for some time, even though it takes a lot longer. The question would be: How much can he improve it?
