Just tryed doing the entertainment screen and its messed my screen up cant reset it 😫
You can do a hard reset by holding volume power button and next track together

I’ve got an st line and I’ve changed it to the st background from the first tip and now the screen is all a different size. Any ideas how to change back if I can’t see the screen fully
Woww I am considering buying a fiesta st as second car😍and this video answered my questions about the esp settings how they work in the 3 drivemodes👌🏻 I wonder if you can drive in trackmode with sport esp 😅
The fifth secret is so true I own a fiesta 86ps and my car is really going a little bit to the right when I hold the steering wheel exactly to the center. I didn’t know this was normal until you clarified it thanks a lot 👍🏻
You can drive in track mode with traction control on if you're needing to save your tyres or something lol

3:45 is there no steering wheel lock?
For Feature 3, do u need to press the ESC first for 5 seconds and then the other thing, or can u immediately use the feature with the silenced exhaust from start?
yeah just push it once and you're good. No traction control, and a slackened stability control. Works the same as the "sport mode" on the last fiesta st.
As I’m watching this late, I’m hoping no5 is erased from my memory tomorrow before I get in the car lol

Hi, thak you for your video, very cool, I would very much like to see more ST content please. Do you have the door protectors? Can you turn off the fake engine noise that is pumped into the cabin?
I've not got the door protectors, My mum has them on her focus and are pretty handy lol. I think a remap may be able to help with the fake noise but I honestly dont notice it
There's no fake noise being pumped. It's real engine noise enhanced.

Thanks a lot. Did not know about the infotainment "customization" and had to try it out right after the video ended. The only thing I would be kinda afraid is turning off your engine while driving - doesnt it also turn off the oil pump?
The engine off one was a bit of a joke really, not recommended by me or ford lol
@@solmackay also one tip: go only for that lincoln version, others may be tuned for bigger screens and you can end up (like me) running around the car to find out how to reset it. Luckily I tried basically every combination of button pressing and managed to do hard (not the normal) reset :D
The GT one works well too, give that one a shot

The oil pump is mechanically driven by the engine. If the engine is spinning the pump is spinning too.

I think by summer I might be getting one as I'm thinking of visiting a couple of tracks

Very useful video. Maybe not related to this, but is it possible to use the ford sync sat nav when Apple car play is connected? I might just be stupid but i can’t seem to get it to work
Never used carplay, also dont have the ford nav so I'm clueless

Cool vidd I didn't know any of those tricks .. but the one thing annoys me more than anything is you can't turn off the cylinder deactivation thingy .. is there any way of turning the bloody thing off ?
Some remap software allows you to do this, TRS i think does it so I'd try them. Other than that just drive about at more than half throttle constantly 😅

I think about feature #5 all the time now haha. When you open the door at 0:27, the running lights turn on. Does anyone know if this can be turned off?

i bought a st3 performance fiesta today, 10 10 2023, wow, even the misses was very impressed, what a car!!!
It would be one of the cars in a two car garage for me, I'm going to get another one lol
i was really unsure what model to go for? but i know the st3 performance pack is it. it has the feel of a very high end car, this will go down as an all time great!!!
@@pirreli5 I've moved to a bmw m140i, wee hatchback with a 3.0 litre turbo and rear wheel drive. I've got a stage 1 tune with more than 400hp and I still think I could keep up with it in my old ST down a twisty road

Not in stock form, but you can with the forscan obd reader software. It will appear on the main infotainment screen

Make sure the volume is on at least 1
The only thing wrong with your steering wheel is that it's on the wrong side... ;)
You should mention the fact that it comes with flat foot shifting even without the "performance pack" option (Blinking ST logo).
Once you're over 6000 rpm it's there.
Is that true ?? I dont have the Performance pack.. and my Dealer Said No about the flat Shift.. my Buddy have the Focus st Performance... And yes .. the st Pops Up at 6000rpm.. !
Yeah I'm pretty sure the st logo is just a shift up light and not to do with flat foot shifting
@@solmackay the blinking st Logo ist for flat shifting... But the Guy Said in the comment that you can do it without the Performance pack.. but i dont think that this is true..! It does Not indicate when you have to Shift.. thats BS
You seem pretty clued up on fast driving and heel and toe technique - so here is a question for you : What is the point of a flat bottom steering wheel !! ...... Does it serve a purpose ?
Haha thanks, to be honest I'm not a fan of a flat bottomed steering wheel. This car gets away with it though due to the steering lock, one turn either way. I'm not a fan of flat bottomed steering wheels in other cars as when manoeuvring around town you can sometimes go to grab a bit of the wheel that doesn't exist lol. I think it's just looks to be honest as racing wheels are rectangular as they don't need to move their hands about. For me though I like my steering wheel to be wheel shaped 😂

No I didn't, if youre on about the mk2 focus st I'd love a shot as it's got that amazing 5 cylinder engine. Can't be bad with 5 cylinders right?
