you forgot that monsters ending in GOTH can summon another monster ending in GOTH, but the summoned one cant summon a new one, and you dont need the " wandering monster" Card to summon another GOTH monster, but if you do use a " wandering monster" Card on another goth monster then you can summon another one that ends in goth

So guys, I'm considering buying Munchkin this month but I'm not sure whether should I get the standard one or the Cthulhu scenario, what is the best or funniest one? help please!
Diego Araujo im not familiar with cthulhu, but i like mythology so i bought munchkin legends, the deluxe guest artist edition for unique sketches.
it depends on what genre you like. go to munchkin website and check them all out.
Hey Puru, I bought the original Munchkin here in my country. It has been translated to portuguese, so now I can play it with my friends who does not speak english. But I've checked out the website, there's a lot of good stuff including the scenario you mentioned, it seems pretty funny. I also like mythology, especially greek mithology. Well, thank you anyways. ;)

Card: Curse! Weapon Becomes Evil
The card states that "the item with the highest bonus now carries a PENALTY equal to its former bonus".
Example:
Let's consider I am level 7 with a +4 bonus item. So my combat strength is 11.
Then I get this curse card. I immediately have to apply it to my +4 item. What is the result of my combat strength?
1. It nullifies my item and I will now fight with a strength of 7?
or
2. It removes the bonus of the item and gives me additional -4 penalty, so I end up with a strength of 3? This way I can say the item now has something like a negative bonus?
What option (1 or 2) is correct?
Alexandre Pita Option 2. Your strength would be 3! So you would want to make sure you had something to remove that curse ASAP.
can you please explain me how the cultist discard pile works ? can i become a cultist from this discard pile ? the rules are confusing at this point of game ..
Good question. Anytime a card says that you are now a cultist it is okay to pull from the cultists discard pile. It is just a way for you to become one without having to search through the deck. At least that's how I play it!

Let's Level Up but if there's no card in cultist discard pile - it doesn't mean that you have to search through the deck! you just avoid becoming a cultist if theres no cultist card available. (thats why they add a special card "my little cthulhu")
