First off Sam, love that shirt. I was almost distracted from the review because of it, lol. Secondly, the game sounds like some fun. Our game group tends to love a mix of filler and epic style games like Blood Rage. Also, I hear ya on the sand timer thing, but like you said, the phone is such a part of most everyone's lives, I guess I'm willing to let that part go because it lowers cost by some....even if it is a minute amount. Games can be so expensive, if someone's going to cut corners on something, I'd rather it be something like that rather than much of anything else.

That shirt was distracting in the matter of my unstoppable laughter.

I swear the final thoughts are getting longer. Seemed this one lasted longer than the game would play too...

First, I love the shirt! Second, it's a good thing that's a Silver Skull and not a Crystal Skull. Third, I literally thought the title was Tomb Raider until you said Trader. ;) Lastly, how do you compare it to Dragon's Gold?

This game has zero similarity to "Incan Gold" (other than the theme, sort of). It is, however, heavily inspired by Bruno Faidutti's excellent "Dragon's Gold", and none of the new elements it adds to the original seem particularly interesting.

Incan Gold you have 2 cards, stay in the temple or leave the temple. This game you have 2 cards, inside the tomb or outside the tomb. Sounds pretty similar to me....
