@@AirgyroAviation I'm enjoying your videos! This Tercel has my attention. Was hoping you were in So. California, however I passed through Spanish Fork back when the Olympics were in SLC. Perhaps I'll come see you next spring unless you plan to be in Cali any time soon
@@fdm91730 I am glad you like the videos! That was a while ago with the Olympics, we have come a long way since then. The Tercel is pretty cool. I know we have wanted to go out to California to do some training, but we haven't organized enough people to make it worth it yet. You should call 801-794-3434 and talk to Josh to tell him your of your interest. May make something like that happen sooner rather than later. If not, we would love to have you come out in the spring!
I took at demo flight 10 year with Airgyro. Might want to go back there to do my PPL or Sports. Anyway to create an automatic system to prevent pilots from unloading the rotor?
Actually trendak gyros don't have that problem. I asked them they said that negative g isn't a problem at all. I guess he is referring to other gyros with the piano reference
It is actually closer to flying an airplane as for level of difficulty. It feels different than both helicopters and airplanes though. I would say overall it is closer to piloting an airplane than heli though.
I love your analogies! "you're flying an umbrella." and "gyroplane to a piano in one second." :) Makes concepts easy to understand for sure. :)
You Do a great job as a teacher and great info you are one of the first that I seen take to time to teach
I like this CFI. Good analogies and examples. Thx for sharing !
Thanks for watching and commenting!
Thanks, i needed that.
What is the max rotor rpm you can achieve on the ground, pre-roll acceleration ? is there a range ? or just a minimum ? before brake release
Disappointed there's not a single establishing shot from outside. Wld be nice to have some idea what we're flying in..
The FIRST, and BEST!
Thanks for commenting, even if it is the good ol' FIRST comment!

@@dkdanis1340 That's true. It really depends on the design of the whole gyroplane, not just one part.
Why is it shaking so much? It has a more or less standard motor, right?
Alvaro do you still training?
LMAO. gyroplane to piano in one second. You got a *thumbs up* for that alone. Although the whole video was good.
Thanks! I loved that too.
My question is can’t you recover. Wouldn’t it be like a stall in airplane, just pull back on stick?
I think he should mention that noise cancelling headphones are required! 🙄
I like the "piano" reference... :)
That totally cracked me up too!
does piloting a gyro is like piloting an heli ?

@@AirgyroAviation Its much simpler than piloting heli or plane.
Always in autogyro mode so safer than both fixed wing and helo's . Engine out just pick a spot and land.
Why does it seem the take off roll is long ....I thought they were short takeoff machines.?
