@@popotanlover3 actually, growing to like the tercios more and more with a bit more practice. Didnt realise you could hit burst, hit formation to stop them, then redraw your firelock after about 4 seconds if you dont want to wade into melee ;) And how much the burst simply turns off heroes - last game on CC defend I got 9 hero kills including one where I pressed fusilade, turned off 2 heroes, hit sabre charge, turned off another, straight back to muskets...

You should go back and re-try the normal firelancers and or the liaos rangers, they have an interesting new mechanic with a x-v-charge combo for 3 free hits + 2 gun blasts

Can you try out kriegsrats? They are the second most tanky unit and with honour tree and the right doctrine they become machineguns. Their accuracy and range makes them be able to snipe a hero at 50m

very bad timing for your tercio buff vid :D They got a unit specific buff today with two new abilities "Fusillade" which let them fire 3 shots like a semi-auto but force them into melee mode after usage to cool down their muskets gun and "Dashing Blades" where they swarm the nearest enmy with their swords (almost like the Azaps On Watch)
Tercio fusilade + nearby jocks giving attack buff ;) Talking about the jocks, we never got the situation loads of people were predicting, where half the players would have jocks out in the match so you would be struggling for actual combat units....
@@JammanTV Was when the unit was first hinted at, if there were loads of quests for the claymores with tasks like 'take S10 units into x sieges and win', it would mean at the start when everyone was rushing for them, there would be half teams made up of bagpipers (if you are going for claymores, then obviously the ONLY S10 units you could possess would be the pipers)...

A poleaxe is continously hitting a knockdown move and pike is like "oh i don't care if it's ult or anything , i'll just use my 5 sec cooldown Ultimate escape skill to just run away " . Fk this sh*t. This is why i quit this game . Have some respect for someone's ult ya know. If it was ult vs ult and pike won , that could've been understandable but that is just BS . At 4:01 , poleaxe directly bangs his back with big FKIN AXE and pike is like "i don't care, it doesn't pain , it didn't even touch me " and easily jumps back away. But considering it wasn't poleaxe's ult i could've lived with that But escaping ults ,FKIN BS.
Omg it's getting worse and worse. The balance team really has no idea what they're doing, from one meta to the next. The balance team should play the game first before making any changes.
Definitely more utility with the grenades and long range potential with the accuracy but it's nice Tercios got a DPS buff and the double down on the melee is interesting. Hopefully they'l fix the melee AI and it might actually be really useful on occasion.
Typically just as I finish the video they announce a tercio rework XD will be back with them again in a few weeks to check out the rework!

I'm excited about the buff. Especially their melee capabilities, which can make them a very versatile unit.

With the reworked Tercio and their new abilities, I guess you will have to revisit them after like 2 weeks or so

You should review the Imperial Spearman and the stompy horsemen, I personally only find the IS more tanky but haven't done much with them yet

i think shenji is more functional than tercio
