    I have highs and lows fluctuations every day. I'm not stuck on one episode for a few days or a week. And then I have times where I'm 100% fine in between. Also on meds it really helps

    I love in the beginning he says you might only have a few throughout your lifetime. I would not classify that as bipolar if out of 80 years you had four episodes.

      Something I learned from my therapist is that they usually base it off of the situations you were in during your time of depression. If you were in a situation that would give most people depression than they usually rule that out. If it’s something where it just happens constantly no matter where you’re at in life, than they’ll take it into consideration.

      if you had even just one full blown blown manic episode in your lifetime , you're bipolar as per dsm5

    I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder at the age of 15. I've taken every psych medication with all the terrible side effects. I'm 28 now and just a couple months ago I found out I have Celiac Disease. I know multiple people that just changed their diet and it improved their mental health tremendously. Please cancel out celiac disease or just change your diet before taking the terrible psych meds

      Sorry you had a bad experience. I got diagnosed recently and i hated certain medications the military gave me because they just tried random thing including ptsd meds.
      I got out and my new dr gave me bipolar medication and it honestly helps a lot and i feel great. I also got diagnosed with hashimoto's and celiac and changing my diet took a while before i started feeing better.

    From what i've heard it's first degree relatives making it likely to occur, though my grandmother had the older age onset variant (i assume)of this and i can''t entirely rule out the possibility of Bipolar 2 myself.
    Thanks for explaining this!

    Destroyed my entire gaming setup for no reason a couple months ago, still trying to figure out how I can help myself.

    • @S1ck0fant
      @S1ck0fant ปีที่แล้ว

      Bi-polar rage is a thing, it stems from irritability. Best think if you can’t get Lithium is first find an outlet - Exercise, every day and hard. You gotta get rid of the energy. Then if you can swing it, microdose mushrooms. But exercise would be #1 on your to do list. If you have trouble sleeping, go get Valerian Root Tea. That helped me knock out and stay asleep, pair it with melatonin and you should be close to an antipsychotic. Watch your diet and eat clean, that’s the best check list I can make for someone who doesn’t have access to meds.
      Good luck, let me know if you got questions.

      It's incredibly hard to help yourself in this state. You need to come to the realisation that you need help from a professional who is used to dealing with these things. It's never as scary as it seems, just get it done

    Feeling like a messenger/ God/Goddess is a trait of bipolar... during my stay in mental hospital I have seen people who is saying they're goddess like me...athorru eye opener ayirunnu... like it made me feel like Creator is a parent of all including me.. it's correct that it took me immense time to accept that because of the disease

    I don’t know… my daughter has bipolar I and she cycles twice per year. She does not have overly energetic, inflated-self or overly risky behavior. She does have dysphoric mania with psychotic features. Her psychosis is not a complete break from reality. It took six years for her to be diagnosed because she was under eighteen. Her first appointment with a doctor that sees adults, he knew immediately that she has bipolar I. I disagree with quite a bit of this information. I have major depression, so I know what depression looks like. It’s not exactly as described here. My daughter doesn’t get suicidal. She gets paranoid. Strange info here.🤷🏻‍♀️

      Different people have different symptoms. The video lists all possible symptoms and you only need to have some of them to be diagnosed - it said as much in the video. The information is based on the criteria published by the American Psychiatric Association.
