I love your excellent sewing tutorials, but viewers may more easily be able to see what you're doing in detail, if you use less busy fabric prints. I find that the chaotic prints detracts from the important details of the process you are showing. Thank you for sharing your expertise!
I just discovered your sewing tutorials today, and love your clear cut instructions & the "must know" topics you cover in them ~ Thank you for your great instructional videos!
I have a one piece sleeve Kwik sew pattern 3555. there is a slash line on the pattern but not stitch lines. there is a pattern piece for the placket which consists of about 1" wide and long enough to go up one side and down the other of the slit on the pattern piece. how would I apply your method to my pattern? I need to be able to determine which side is which...the taller part you show goes towards the front?........do I place the 'welt type' marking over the slit on my pattern? then just use the notches to determine the front and back side of the sleeve? Your brown paper pattern doesn't show any s/a.
This is SUCH a good video!! Clear, straight to the point, thank you so much!!!

That shirt cuff looks filthy!
Lol! It's theatre. It's been distressed or broken down to look old.
