    please people do not buy this boardwhen I say the keys are horrible I'm not even sure if they are semi weighted if you have a couple extra dollars hold out and get the casio privia you'll get bored with the sounds fast because of the quality of them however this keyboard does have awesome split and layer function usability it's the easiest one I've seen

      ***** Okay first of all the keybed is the worst. Its a hammer action style with a semi weight the white keys are noticeably heavier than the black keys. Its not really springy. Usb connection was impossible for me with this one on a pc. The pianos suck basically only a few keys are sampled at one velocity and when you strike it adds a ring of some sort to address that. The lower base sounds okay casio FM E.Pianos are okay but if you want to go the el cheapo route or the beginner route i suggest a yamaha psr or save up a couple hundred more (500) and get a casio privia the hammers are excellent the keys have a wooden mattie finish but it will get your finger strength right.

      If you want this piano to make the sound of this board bad ass. Hook it up to some effects modules (Stomp boxes). It's so amazing how far a great reverb, chorus, and delay pedal can bring the tone of this board to.

      Would you recommend buying a yamaha dgx 230/ypg 235 instead of this casio keyboard? Which one do you think is better? Thank you

    • @colbalt95
      @colbalt95 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      MasterEmoCreeper Yes they are better because their pianos are based off of the PSR what you should get is a yamaha mm6 those piano sounds are based off of the motif. ill tell you something else better about the ypg 235 if its like the PSR the Chord bank naming system is far better than Casio

    what's the steps to excess the transpose button on the keyboard ?

    • @heckYEAHman.
      @heckYEAHman. 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s been three years, but if anyone else is wondering, just hit the function key. It’s the first option, so the screen should say “Trans.” Then hit the + or - keys to transpose up or down

    What do you think of the yamaha dgx 230/ypg 235 compared to this?

    • @ScienceDog777
      @ScienceDog777  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      The DGX/YPG family is, in my opinion, a little clunky. That could just be preference though, so you should always get a "feel" for a particular product family before you invest.
