This is great! Very creative use of modulation. Using an LFO on the VCA or VCF could also be a nice workaround to get 32nd note retriggers on sequencers that don’t offer it, like the key step pro.

Fantastic video and inspiring results. Take this request or leave it, but could you slow down your workflow a tiny bit, or talk a little more about what you’re doing *before you do it? Sometimes you move through the settings and make adjustment at what seems like 2x speed, which is impressive in and of itself (!), but it can be impossible to follow as a viewer. It’s why I gave up on your Digitakt course pretty early on. Not a criticism, just feedback - still grateful for your output.

Thanks for watching 🙏 Pacing and speed, It’s a tricky topic! Before Digitakt II I made a survey, majority said pacing was perfect, some said I go to slow and some said I go to fast. It’s very difficult to get it just right and thought I had the balance of DT2 course spot on after testing. Only thing I can say at this point is to try slowing or speeding video speed, I often watch content at 1.5 but you can go down slower too.
As for these videos I agree the pacing is super quick, as it’s not an instructional video more of a free flow against the clock session to explore. Will do some more slower step by steps soon though and take your comment onboard when I’m moving around the machines 🙏

How were you sequencing the LFO to the filter on the K2/Pro-1 ? Using a modular unit or some other way like Ableton cv tools? Super cool technique!

@ that would be cool. Was scratching my head for a while after about how I could achieve it on my Pro1. Alas, i don’t have the audio interface or a modular setup for it but would be cool to see how it’s achieved. May open Pandora’s box on the modular for me though 😅
