Meta quest used to have a thing where you could break out each window on your desktop to hover in space in your VR playspace, and then you could interact with it by looking at it, and you could do this while using the passthrough cameras, allowing you to have a mixed reality workflow/"spatial computing". For some reason they got rid of this function, and made an entirely seperate program which was meant to have that function again, supposedly improved, but it was actually made worse in every way. Key way it was made worse is that you could only have the actual screens from your monitors hover in space. Meaning if you wanted more than 1 visible window, you needed more than 1 physical screen. A couple of other programs, such as OVR toolkit, have similar limitations which can be bypassed with extra screens.
