  • FSD 12.3.6 continues where 12.3.4 left off. While the drive remains smooth and refined, slow right turns and one VERY slow left turn continue to drag on overall performance.
    0:45 Slow right turn
1:40 Being patient at busy crossing
    2:40 Pedestrian and doggy
    4:00 Hesitant right turn
4:20 Speeding with auto speed adjust
    7:20 Smooth speed adjust
    7:47 Blind left turn
    9:57 Awesome complex calculation
    10:20 Amazing roundabout
10:55 No issues with reversing car
    11:07 Great pedestrian avoidance
    13:05 Roundabout 2
    14:00 Roundabout 3
15:29 INTERVENTION on slow left turn
    16:49 Hesitant through yellow light
17:30 FSD confused with speed placard
    19:30 Slow right turn
    20:30 Left turn needs improvement
    22:05 Final thoughts

I like the not so emotional commentary. Easy to listen to. Keep it up.

I subscribed because out of all the "FSD youtubers" I've seen, your commentary is the most realistic given my experience with using FSD. Most of these youtubers are drinking the cool-aid and won't give honest criticism, I assume because they all have over-leveraged positions in TSLA stock.

Very kind words. Thank you. It’s easy to do overly positive videos (just look at my first videos of V12), and I’d love to say this is perfect tech, but we are so far away from the end state. I’m enjoying the journey.

First my FSD has never hit a curb. And since Version 12 it has not made one what I would state as a dangerous move. It may not always drive the route that I would take, and n occasion it will make a wrong turn and will then correct the route. I purchased FSD Beta when I bought my Model Y in January 2020 and took delivery in June 2020. I was given FSD Beta in October 2021 and in the last 2 1/2 years I have seen it make great progressions... Oh, in October of 2021 I dared not take my mind off of the car for a second. But today, 95% of my drives have ZERO corrections. What you will find is that the most you drive the car in FSD the better that it gets...

I’ve been driving FSD for about a year, and the progression has been fantastic. Now most of the progression came when it moved to version 12, but I’m confident it will keep improving. I just filmed it doing an odd braking which happens less on V12, but still occurs sporadically.

Will FSD 12.4 be the next noticeable improvement?

Recently, I heared fewer complaints like missing the turn, hitting the curb in
    Others' vids.
Of course, FSD still makes mistakes in tricky scenarios.

FSD makes mistakes on everyday drives. Not even tricky drives.

@@srsin1143 Just think, someday FSD will be Level 5 and can safely drive for 100's of miles, while you take a nap in the back seat.
      No supervision required.

@@srsin1143 You are right. I read that Apple spent billions of dollars on 'Project Titan', the self-driving electric car.
It was so difficult, they abandoned the whole thing.
I have to laugh when people say that Tesla FSD drives 'just like a human'. A human can drive every day for years, without an accident. Human drivers are *very* *good* . 😀

Like debris? I wouldn’t trust it yet to do that but yes overall I find it quite safe. It is cautious around people and of course cars.

Wow, FSD has been in beta for almost *four* *years* , and many v12 point releases.
And still there is: slow right turns, problems with Left turns, problems with Speed Limit, and just general hesitation.
When will the much-hyped AI and Neural Networks finally improve this beta software? It seems that Level 5 Full Autonomy is a long ways off.

    • @FSDwithme

Years away! But v12 is still a big leap from V11. Can AI help it improve much quicker than the programmed updates? Let’s hope!

@@DerekDavis213 No, engineering degrees in Aeronautical and Electronics. Yes, and FSD Supervised 12.3.6 does an amazing job. It drives roundabout better than 90% of the drivers on the road and in the last two weeks the car has drive over 1,000 miles and had no disengagements, except in parking lots or when I arrive at a destination. On occasion it will turn on the wrong street, but reroute and correct itself. And version 12 was only first released to the general populous less than 2 months ago. What is your problem, jealous???

@@michaelholliday100 Jealous of what? A simple minded Level 2 assistant that makes mistakes every day, and it cannot be trusted. Sure you went 1000 miles with no disengagements, if it was ALL freeway driving. If you go to a busy big city, FSD will be revealed for the fraud that it is.
People paid $15k or $12k for SELF driving, not some cheesy Supervised driving. Customers were deceived by Elon himself.
