- Four Apaches, two AH-64D (Mk1) and two AH-64E participated in a farewell flypast at various locations across England. Signifying the retirement of the Mk1 variant from Army Air Corps service. I filmed them at RAF Shawbury where they stopped for fuel before heading East to Wattisham. The callsign of the flight was "YETI" and for you number crunchers the serials were ZJ213, ZJ221, ZM702 and ZM714. This footage was shot handheld using a Canon XA11.

Sad to see the Mk1 go! It was pleasure to catch their farewell flight though! Did anyone on here see them??

3:35 Ok, this scene is sick!!
Does that mean you enjoyed the footage?
Waited over an hour for them to fly over Hereford barracks, only to divert away at the last minute 😢
Ahhh, gutted. I did see while tracking them they missed out Credenhill for some reason.
AH-64E gonna replace all of them instead?
I believe so, yes. 👍
