It's always a pleasure to see the Reds! For anyone who is interested....... I have timestamped each maneuver from this full display. The only one I've missed is the "Heart". That was down to the camera completely losing focus. 😂

Kami pernah menggunakan pesawat ini rutin sekitar tahun 1993 sd 1995 dari Bpp ke Pulau Laut. Pulau Lau Bpp. Ini adalah salah satu Pesawat perintis yang handal.

There aren't too many Pumas left in RAF service now! So this was certainly a nice catch last week.

I can't understand why they don't build the Short SC-7 Skyvan, because it is and remains a light and easy-to-fly transport aircraft. Which suits many small and medium-sized and private airports. Big mistake by Short not to build the Short SC-7 Skyvan today. Think again and do the right thing.

Flew G-BHAA twice on my first day as a newbie instructor at Shobdon. It was on June 11th, 1986. AA's been through a few paint schemes since then, some good, some less so. I think the present scheme is really cool. In all I did over 5,000 hours' instructing at Shobdon, a fair chunk of that being on good old AA. Thanks for the nostalgia!

The original Shed; so slow it had bird strikes on the trailing edges.

last one I ever saw was an Omani Airforce variant. Doing coastal patrols. Came in very low over us. Had a quick chat with the pilot on the VHF, they were just checking up on us, as we were 30NM offshore and they didn't want us to stray any closer to Iranian waters.

I see one of these flying over my home town of Bicester quite often, operating from Weston-on-the-Green airfield. I'm not sure if its this one, though.

Used to operate the Skyvan out of Shannon to East Midlands on behalf of Elan International... now DHL... back around 1984... Great memories

Reminds my of a story I heard years ago at Gatwick. American pilot waiting for a shed to land… ‘Can’t you go any faster buddy?’ Shed pilot…. ‘We are going as fast as we can’, American pilot… ‘ it would go quicker if you took it out of the box’! 🤣

Shorts also built the Belfast heavy cargo aircraft for the raf . I think they built about 12 of them.

I had to share the circuit with this aircraft on my recent microlight GST at Shobdon. I thought it best to give him plenty of space... 😳😲🙈

A very enjoyable few hours filming at RAF Cranwell. Unfortunately Cranwell approach is on the very busy A17 road. So I apologise for all the traffic noise!

Great video and camera work. I wonder what kind of aerobatics the Frecce Tricolori will be able to perform with the M-346 now that they have chosen it to replace the MB-339. It will be sad not being able to see the lomcevak and the volo folle.

I had an hour spare while visiting family in Manchester. It seemed rude to not pop by the airport! I'm happy to have caught Jet2 Boeing 757 G-LSAJ as it's my understanding it has since retired.
