I overstock on my purchases of Oak Cake Rolls solely because I care about Firefly allot. It's her favorite snack. If I see a shop selling them, I buy out their entire stock of them. Whenever I use it, Firefly is always in the party. I like to think I'm giving her some to eat when I use that consumable. Her past is straight-out depressing and tragic. Plus, since she was created as an expendable weapon of war against the Propagation, she isn't given much of a lifespan compared to most humans. As she wasn't treated as a living being for the ones she fought for. And therefore, her creator(s) didn't have a reason to give her a long lifespan. The name "Firefly" truly fits her. A firefly is bright in the darkness of night, but their life is as fleeting as a flame in the cold. She shines brightly, but is a light that will be put out within a short time when the wind calls to put her out. Her E6 art showing her fading away represents her fleeting lifespan.
This is too much! Making them very adorable and then dying one by one is making my heart felt too much despair and sadness. This is why I pulled for Firefly not because she is cool but because of her story.
I recently started playing HSR again because I heard about the Firefly rerun Originally I wanted Firefly just because "oh mah gawd she pretty" but the more I learn the more my heart absolutely breaks for her Even when I thought I went through everything, when playing through the Bird Clash event she goes "Lets go for a picnic. Since it's in a dream, there aren't gonna be any insects there right?" And my heart just shattered all over again from the realization that this sweetheart can't stand insects because of the shit she went through fighting the swarm
Holy shit. Just realised firefly is similar to chtholly from sukasuka. Both are weapon created to fight monsters and once they can no fight, they use the last of their life to explode and take out as many enemies as they can
in terms of story this feels more logical and easier to understand than the official short and tbh I still don't believe a Firefly mech can destroy a planet
Even as someone who knows nothing about Hoyoverse games or Gundam 00, this was an amazing video! It was very emotional and I'm glad TH-cam recommended it to me.
It is the greatest waste in life not to see this episode at all in the game; FireFly has survived the sacrifices of many of its comrades-in-arms and is alive today. These 266 seconds are a wonderful and moving way to understand FireFly😭
Seeing the destruction on the world and all her comrades die, because of her needing to sacrifice them all to end the swarm, I have yet to see Firefly cry as much since she did witnessing it all. The pain of grief of war is heavy on the heart. They all fought for an empire, that has long ago ended, and still fought for it beyond that point. The other SAM pilots were her comrades and friends, the pain of them all dying must have been overwhelming on her heart... I'd give her hugs if I could. Nobody deserves to suffer from that weight on her heart...
What's funny is that they lost completely. The giant sting that we saw from the trailer was just some kind of elite boss, not even an emanator of any kind, it was just something kinda similar to the Argenti quest. All those clones, tho they're not real human, died for nothing.

And maybe they to say that Firefly was the only survivor of her platoon/legión and we have to rebember that the other have a diferent suit, that maybe they have diferent fuctions. maybe they aré More survivors in all the universe, AND join diferents factions, Have they ways to cure themselfs or Prolong they lifes.
The saddest part of this story is that it was all for nothing. Glamoth was destroyed, and the swarm still remained even after Tayzzyronth was sealed. EDIT: Okay, it wasn't so "all for nothing", thanks for correcting me.

And other part says "meh, not that interesting", IBO I do love the concept of Gundam's named after Demons and cool Mecha designs but have had the tike to watch it, watched too much of the Build series back then. Being a gundam 00 fan, this makes me teeter on the fence of happiness of seeing the mecha combat, and the raging pain of warfare.
