I bought my mattress used for $20 in 2007. I can feel the wires of the springs just by laying down on it. I ordered the 8"linenspa and I'm 225 lbs. pretty sure at this point, anything is going to feel amazing.

I usually like just a little bit softer mattress than any of these, but I like that the Lucid has coils and according to Marten's review, this would probably be the best one out of all of them for my side sleeping needs.

Was searching Amazon for a cheap mattress, reading reviews for zinus and linen spa. Def considering linen spa for my stomach sleeping after this detailed explanation and multi review

The Lucid and the Amazon Basics actually sounds like either would be a good match for me. They both sound great for a side sleeper like me and they are good for couples.

T&N for me. Its a nice mattress and they are a great company with great customer service. Maybe the Amazonbasics too

I'm a side sleeper so I would go with either Zinus, Amazon Basics, or Tuft & Needle. Lucid looks like it might work for heavier people.

Hi, regarding your comment on Lucid is that it's not the most accurate. This video took one mattress from Lucid and reviewed it. One thing about the Lucid brand more than any other brand they make 14 different types mattresses plus on top of that make them different thickness. They also make hybrids with indivdual coils. They make different thickness. What Lucid does is make a mattress to each individual needs compared to others that try to make the person fit the mattress approach.

Surprisingly, I like the Zinus over the Lucid and T&N for this review!

A couple of things about Zinus with what people say in reviews is the bad smell that it's hard to get rid of. They all so go only up to 10." There is video on by a couple on TH-cam and they recommend spending more on a better mattress like a Nighslee. A Zinus mattress cover isn't made to come off. In my opinion a mattress cover should be washable.

The Zinus sounds the best for us, it's good for heavier persons, the motion transfer and support it just sounded like it would be great for us, I also was interested in the Tuft and Needle after Marten's review too. Now I just need to find a way to sound proof my home from rude neighbors that blast their bass boost speakers till 2 a.m. (sorry going crazy and very aggravated after a week of bass booming into our home all night long, I'm soooooo irritable I'm taking it out on Mattress Clarity reviews now. If you have any suggestions on stopping bass from traveling into my home please let me know, other than calling police, they won't help, I tried already)

Lots of great mattresses here! I like the hybrid Lucid mattress because I'm a side sleeper and on the heavier side. Like Martin I'm looking for a little more support so a hybrid might be best for me. Plus the edge support testing had Lucid as one of the best in this video. The other hybrid ( Linenspa ) tested bad for side sleepers but good for edge support so I'm torn between which is more important to me. I think since I'm used to sleeping on a coil mattress now I might not mind a firm mattress and them being hybrids I'll get the best of both worlds!

Bro im 6ft 300 i got the 8 inch Linenspa as a quick budget transition bed before moving and its surprised mehow comfy the liittle bugger was i sleep like a baby on my stomach but like you im a side sleeper and it will dig into your hip area i solved it with a matress topper but the 12 inch version should be perfect

The Linenspa is so great for the price im a big guy and its great for stomach sleepers !!! But if your a heavier person and sleep on your side or lay on your side for long periods of time in bed get the 12 inch over the 8 inch or get a 2 to 4 inch mattress topper because it will dig into your hip

My 7 year old son has the 8 inch linenspa hybrid. Its good for kids not so much adults if anyone is looking into the 8 inch. I really want a foam feeling mattress that has a pillow top. Any suggestions?

The lucid is a 6.5 firm. If you went up to the next size (example you did the 10” hybrid), if you went to 12 inch would it become more plush?? Maybe a 5 on firm scale?

Any advice on which mattress has the least chemical odor? Least issue with initial and lingering odor from Manufacturing? I checked on Amazon and most of the mattresses have people saying both there's no odor and then other people saying there's a strong chemical odor that persists. What do you think? Probably leaning towards the Amazon basics so if you could give me any feedback on that one in particular would be great. Anyway thanks appreciate any help.

I think the best option is the tuft and needle as I'm side sleeper but I'm still confused. Is it a good option if I'm stuck in bed? I've been looking at tempur and sleep numbers but I need your advice. I need something soft side sleeper with ability to handle constant in bed as well as being able to be adjustable! Plz help

Hey awesome video. I’ve subscribed to your channel. Looking to purchase to queen beds for a summer home. So it will see use about 5 to 6 months out of the year. What would you recommend that would be budget friendly yet won’t sacrifice on comfort? Looking to spend about $300 to $400 max on each thanks!
